RE: New Twitter Algorithm Changes Effective Immediately

in LeoFinance3 years ago

So the optimal scenario for a good Twitter engagement is writing something like a substack level of post and then posting a decent-sized and engaging cut on Twitter or just outright post on Twitter and signaling your affiliation with the Blockchain as Homebase?

We need to break out of the circles that we're created and locked ourselves in. The trending feed of Twitter is rather unuseful for me to pick topics, having said that, the statement is also true for trending topics on Hive Apps.

What to write about? What size, depth, and style? Those things are not obvious to me, but it is not too little of a challenge.

You're correct in your understanding that the new Twitter algorithm emphasizes conversation and engagement. To optimize engagement, it's important to share valuable content and actively participate in discussions. Creating long-form content, similar to a substack post, and sharing an engaging snippet on Twitter could indeed be an effective strategy IMO

As for breaking out of our circles, it's significant to explore new topics and engage with diverse audiences. Perhaps, we can start by identifying trending topics that are relevant to Hive and its features. This way, we can join broader conversations and showcase how the platform can contribute to these discussions.

What to write about? What size, depth, and style? Those things are not obvious to me, but it is not too little of a challenge.

Regarding content size, depth, and style, there's no one-size-fits-all answer, as it largely depends on the target audience and topic. However, providing well-researched, informative, and engaging content tailored to the Twitter audience will help improve the visibility and reach of Hive-related posts.

As for myself, I will keep experimenting and refining the approach to find the best way to communicate and promote the Hive platform effectively.

Good luck bro, good to see your engagements as always @manniman 😇

Your second point is very good, was thinking about that yesterday.

Maybe short "news" type posts would be something, I see all the other outlets writing only those nowadays.

Here we go, Reality Check Time! I'll do a live check right now, on what is heading on Coindesk/CoinTelegraph WallStreeJournal right now and classify it by length, media usage, and difficulty to write.

I think we can create a space that makes people post articles like that On-Chain, but there have to be some distinct limitations to prevent the emergence of tight moderation. Taking those posts or that general space and cross-publish it into the web2s is some sort of a "traffic funnel". I'm talking very distinctly about short news posts. We've got some good writers within the HiQ Magazin, could be something they might be interested in.
