¿Cómo es Vivir en Hiperinflación?
Cuando recibí la invitación a participar en el reto, lo asumí con mucha responsabilidad dado que al tomar la decisión de participar voy a compartir con mis lectores una situación hípercompleja que me ha afectado como ser espiritual, como mujer, como ser humano y como ser social. Por eso es que hoy comparto con ustedes mi percepción de lo que hemos estado viviendo los hombres y mujeres que estamos asentados en tierra venezolana.

¿Cómo es Vivir en Hiperinflación?
Mi participación en el reto va a consistir en dar mi opinión en relación a lo que es un proceso de Hiperinflación, luego responderé las preguntas relacionadas al reto y por último compartiré una anécdota.
¿Qué es un proceso de Hiperinflación?
Desde el punto de vista técnico, el proceso de hiperinflación es una inflación muy elevada -fuera de control- en la cual los precios aumentan abruptamente aunado a la pérdida del valor real de la moneda con la consecuencia inmediata de la reducción del patrimonio monetario de la población.
Desde otra concepción, la hiperinflación es un caso extremo de la inflación y ocurre cuando hay un rápido aumento en la cantidad de dinero circulante que no está correspondido por un aumento similar en la cantidad de bienes y servicios existentes en la economía.
Desde mi percepción, la hiperinflación es un proceso en el cual aumentan abruptamente los precios de los bienes y servicios, no existe estabilidad en el sistema monetario y además no hay producción interna. Sin ánimo de dar opiniones técnicas al respecto porque no soy especialista en Economía; sin embargo, lo que expongo es consecuencia de mi experiencia de vida como mujer que ha tenido que asumir una postura en extremo equilibrada para llegar a ser exitosa y lograr el objetivo: vivir. No creo que nuestra vida o el éxito en nuestra vida dependa de un gobierno en turno o de un personaje en especial. El poder está dentro de cada ser y yo asumo ese poder para enfrentar de la forma más equilibrada, inteligente e ingeniosa el proceso que vivimos en la actualidad en nuestra nación.

¿Cuál es la parte más difícil de vivir en hiperinflación?
Desde mi percepción, la parte más difícil de vivir un proceso de hiperinflación es dedicarse exclusivamente a ser un consumidor. Mientras no tengamos la posibilidad plena de producir a nivel interno bienes y servicios es cuesta arriba poder hacer frente a la escalada en el aumento de precios, lo que disminuye la oferta de bienes y catapulta el precio de la oferta ante el aumento de la demanda. Pareciera un trabalenguas; sin embargo, no lo es. Este escenario de la hiperinflación que agobia a hombres y mujeres que viven en tierra venezolana es un escenario dantesco donde muchas personas han tenido que cerrar operaciones y dejar de producir por el elevado costo de las materias primas e insumos. Otra opción ha sido migrar a otros sectores, antes ni siquiera imaginados, donde la creatividad y el ingenio son actores estelares. Esa migración a otras áreas ha desarrollado una diversidad en la calidad de los productos y los servicios prestados. Allí hemos vividos una situación compleja porque está entonces tomar la decisión entre calidad del producto y del servicio recibido y la cantidad de dinero a pagar. Hay otro escenario, donde la actividad realizada genera un producto nuevo de excelente calidad o presta un servicio jamás ofrecido y a buen precio. Este es uno de los mejores escenarios porque aunque estamos experimentando con productos nuevos, estos son de muy buena calidad y los servicios prestados son óptimos. Con todo lo antes expuesto quiero decir que vivir en este proceso inflacionario constante y dinámico en tiempo y espacio (jamás vas a encontrar precios uniformes en diferentes ciudades ni siquiera en zonas cercanas), nos ha dado la oportunidad de seleccionar la mejor opción y de crear alternativas propias para dar respuesta a una necesidad sentida.
¿Qué has aprendido de esta situación?
El aprendizaje ha sido genuino. Soy optimista por decisión de vida y por lo tanto habitualmente busco el lado positivo de cada situación o evento a mi alrededor. Este proceso de hiperinflación ha sido para mí un aprendizaje de vida; en donde he puesto en marcha por convicción, no por necesidad, lo que es mi filosofía de vida. Desde hace algunas lunas yo estoy convencida de que debemos producir en nuestras casa o sitios de habitación por lo menos nuestras especias y así lo he hecho. Desde hace varios años y en los dos últimos años mucho más, me he dedicado a producir mis especias, algunos vegetales de hojas, frutos, plantas medicinales y hermosas plantas ornamentales. Me he dedicado a cultivar mi alma a través de mi jardín. Jamás olvidemos que antes de ser seres humanos somos seres espirituales y por eso somos energía y por esa posibilidad tenemos la oportunidad de transformarnos. La energía se transforma. Además de producir en casa algunas de las especies vegetales que consumo, me he dedicado a hacer alianzas con otros productores o campesinos que tienen la misma filosofía de manejar orgánicamente los cultivos y tengo la posibilidad de comprar productos orgánicos a buen precio. Sin llegar a caer en manos de quienes comercian sin ningún tipo de bioética. Además de estas opciones también me he dedicado a producir mis propios jabones y a buscar las mejores opciones para la adquisición de los productos de limpieza. Me he dedicado a buscar la mejor opción y a establecer alianzas estratégicas con la finalidad de cubrir requerimientos y necesidades.
¿Cuál fue el detonante de la hiperinflación en tu país?
En mi opinión, el detonante de la hiperinflación en mi país ha sido la poca o inexistente producción a nivel interno ligado a la inestabilidad de la moneda y a factores externos que disminuyen el accionar del aparato productivo a nivel primario y secundario. Respeto las posturas de otras personas; sin embargo, debo decir que este proceso nos ha dado la oportunidad de evaluar nuestras potencialidades y si ya teníamos alguna idea de las mismas las hemos puesto en práctica para lograr salir airosos en este momento y prepararnos para dar respuesta en tiempo real a cada eventualidad y lograr transformar en una experiencia de vida cada adversidad.
¿Qué consejo le darías a un extranjero que va a comenzar a vivir una hiperinflación en su país?
Debo ser sincera porque es mi sentir serlo. No soy quien se dedica a estar dando consejos. Sin embargo, si se presenta el escenario y un extranjero me preguntase qué hacer al respecto, le respondería de la siguiente forma. En paz, calma y tranquilidad, evaluar lo que está aconteciendo, ¿cuáles son las causas de la hiperinflación? Evaluar las potencialidades personales y colectivas, crear alianzas y asumir la solidaridad como eje de acción en comunidad. Esa sería una forma de actuar en colectivo y poder resolver un problema que aqueja a todos con una solución que los beneficie colectivamente. La razón por la cual lo primero que recomendaría es evaluar el escenario de la hiperinflación y sus causas es porque no existen recetas milagrosas ni procesos idénticos. Es el caso de dos países, en un mismo continente; Argentina y mi amada nación, Venezuela, han sufridos procesos de hiperinflación y las causas son antagónicas y absolutamente diferentes. Por eso es que debemos estar muy pendientes de lo que vamos a recomendar y cuál es el escenario al cual nos vamos a referir. En cada territorio son sus propios habitantes los que van a dar respuestas a una situación o evento. Puedo decir que es a nivel de cada individuo, de cada ser, de cada ciudadano que va a gestarse una solución a la complejidad que genera un proceso de hiperinflación.
¿Cómo HIVE y Leofinance ayudan a personas que viven en hiperinflación?
Esta pregunta la voy a responder como le respondí a una persona hace unas cuantas lunas en relación a lo que yo había logrado teniendo la posibilidad de ser parte de HIVE. En los últimos meses y más aún en los meses de pandemia, las personas de mi familia y yo, que trabajamos en HiveBlog blockchain hemos tenido excelentes dividendos en ganancias por nuestra participación y por supuesto esta situación ha generado la posibilidad de enfrentar este proceso de hiperinflación, logrando así respuesta inmediata a la hora de asumir un compromiso financiero. Algunos de mis viajes, a nivel nacional, los he financiado con recursos financieros obtenidos a través de la plataforma interactiva de HIVE. Incluso, algunas veces he invertido en bienes para comercializar y se ha multiplicado la inversión. Agradecida por ello.
Mi Anécdota
Llegó el momento de compartir una de mis anécdotas. De hecho, tengo muchas porque mi creatividad ha aumentado de manera exponencial a medida que nuestra situación se ha tornado más compleja. Jamás me dedico a quejarme. Mi única opción es transformar la energía asociada a cada evento o situación. Por eso de que somos energía y la energía se transforma.
Hace unas cuantas lunas, cuando los productos de aseo personal se tornaron escasos y además los precios prohibidos por lo costosos que eran, tomé la decisión de hacer algo para no tener que tomar la opción de los productos de menor costo que eran de muy baja calidad. Me propuse a elaborar jabones de tocador. Soy químico de profesión; sin embargo, jamás había elaborado jabones. El conocimiento teórico lo sabía, los procesos involucrados los conocía. Tomé la decisión y ubiqué un aceite vegetal que en ese momento era un problema porque era un residuo y ya estaba causando un problema a nivel del manejo de efluentes y por supuesto a nivel ambiental. Para elaborar los jabones requería un álcalí y lo tenía en buena cantidad en casa, ¡Enhorabuena! Ese aceite residual, después de varias pruebas, logré depurarlo. Con el aceite ya libre de impurezas y listo para ser usado cumpliendo el proceso bioético, elaboré un jabón base. Ese jabón base cumplió una característica muy importante: no irritaba la piel. Sin embargo, no estuve satisfecha y logré hacer una resuspensión de ese jabón base y volví a elaborar una mezcla en la cual fue incorporado un ingrediente adicional que le dio a ese jabón una característica de jabón de tocador de excelente calidad. Le agregué avena, algunas veces avena y miel, avena y flores de cayenas deshidratadas, avena y aceite de coco. Así fue como surgió de una necesidad a nivel personal, un emprendimiento. Yo hice muchos jabones. Incluso el jabón base lo mejoré y servía para lavar ropa sin dañar tejidos. Logré vender los jabones excedentes y mis jabones fueron utilizados por muchas personas. Los resultados fueron excelentes. Obtuve dinero de la venta de los jabones para cubrir mi presupuesto familiar y para seguir invirtiendo. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora. A futuro estoy en la perspectiva de invertir para volver a elaborar jabones a mayor escala de producción. Lo más importante ya lo hice, logré optimizar el proceso después de una exhaustiva investigación y un proceso de reinvención.

That is why today I am sharing with you my perception of what we, the men and women who are settled on Venezuelan soil, have been going through.

My participation in the challenge will consist of giving my opinion on what a Hyperinflation process is, then I will answer the questions related to the challenge and finally I will share an anecdote.
What is a Hyperinflation process?
From a technical point of view, the process of hyperinflation is a very high inflation -out of control- in which prices increase abruptly together with the loss of the real value of the currency with the immediate consequence of reducing the monetary wealth of the population.
From another conception, hyperinflation is an extreme case of inflation and occurs when there is a rapid increase in the amount of money in circulation that is not matched by a similar increase in the amount of goods and services in the economy.
From my perception, hyperinflation is a process in which the prices of goods and services increase abruptly, there is no stability in the monetary system and there is no internal production. I do not intend to give technical opinions on the matter because I am not a specialist in Economics; however, what I am saying is a consequence of my life experience as a woman who has had to assume an extremely balanced position in order to become successful and achieve the goal: to live. I do not believe that our life or success in our life depends on a government in office or a special character. The power is within each being and I assume that power to face in the most balanced, intelligent and ingenious way the process we are currently living in our nation.
The perception of a human being is his opinion, which is based on his philosophy of life, his beliefs, traditions, even his fears and prejudices.
What is the hardest part of living in hyperinflation?
From my point of view, the most difficult part of living through a hyperinflation process is to dedicate oneself exclusively to being a consumer. As long as we do not have the full possibility of producing goods and services domestically, it is difficult to cope with the escalating price increase, which reduces the supply of goods and catapults the price of supply in the face of the increase in demand. It sounds like a tongue twister; however, it is not. This scenario of hyperinflation that overwhelms men and women living in Venezuela is a Dantesque scenario where many people have had to close operations and stop producing due to the high cost of raw materials and inputs. Another option has been to migrate to other sectors, not even imagined before, where creativity and ingenuity are stellar actors. This migration to other areas has developed a diversity in the quality of products and services provided. There we have lived a complex situation because it is then to make the decision between the quality of the product and the service received and the amount of money to be paid. There is another scenario, where the activity performed generates a new product of excellent quality or provides a service never offered before and at a good price. This is one of the best scenarios because although we are experimenting with new products, these are of very good quality and the services provided are optimal. With all of the above I want to say that living in this constant and dynamic inflationary process in time and space (you will never find uniform prices in different cities, not even in nearby areas), has given us the opportunity to select the best option and create our own alternatives to respond to a felt need.
What have you learned from this situation?
The learning has been genuine. I am an optimist by life decision and therefore I usually look for the positive side of every situation or event around me. This process of hyperinflation has been for me a life learning; where I have put into action by conviction, not by necessity, what is my philosophy of life. Since a few moons ago I have been convinced that we must produce at least our own spices in our homes or places of residence and I have done so. For several years and in the last two years much more, I have dedicated myself to produce my spices, some leafy vegetables, fruits, medicinal plants and beautiful ornamental plants. I have dedicated myself to cultivate my soul through my garden. Let us never forget that before being human beings we are spiritual beings and that is why we are energy and because of this possibility we have the opportunity to transform ourselves. Energy transforms. In addition to producing at home some of the vegetables that I consume, I have made alliances with other producers or farmers who have the same philosophy of organically managing crops and I have the possibility to buy organic products at a good price. Without falling into the hands of those who trade without any kind of bioethics. In addition to these options I have also dedicated myself to produce my own soaps and to look for the best options for the acquisition of cleaning products. I have dedicated myself to look for the best option and to establish strategic alliances with the purpose of covering requirements and needs.
What was the trigger for hyperinflation in your country?
In my opinion, the trigger for hyperinflation in my country has been the low or non-existent domestic production linked to the instability of the currency and external factors that reduce the productive apparatus at the primary and secondary levels. I respect other people's positions; however, I must say that this process has given us the opportunity to evaluate our potentialities and if we already had some idea of them, we have put them into practice in order to be successful at this moment and to prepare ourselves to respond in real time to every eventuality and to transform every adversity into a life experience.
What advice would you give to a foreigner who is about to start experiencing hyperinflation in his country?
I must be honest because it is my feeling to be honest. I am not one who is in the business of giving advice. However, if the scenario arises and a foreigner were to ask me what to do about it, I would answer as follows. In peace, calm and tranquility, evaluate what is happening, what are the causes of hyperinflation? Evaluate personal and collective potentialities, create alliances and assume solidarity as the axis of community action. That would be a way to act collectively and be able to solve a problem that afflicts everyone with a solution that benefits them collectively. The reason why the first thing I would recommend is to evaluate the hyperinflation scenario and its causes is because there are no miracle recipes or identical processes. This is the case of two countries, in the same continent; Argentina and my beloved nation, Venezuela, have suffered hyperinflation processes and the causes are antagonistic and absolutely different. That is why we must be very attentive to what we are going to recommend and which is the scenario we are going to refer to. In each territory it is its own inhabitants who are going to give answers to a situation or event. I can say that it is at the level of each individual, of each being, of each citizen that a solution to the complexity generated by a hyperinflation process will be developed.
How HIVE and Leofinance help people living in hyperinflation?
This question I am going to answer as I answered to a person a few moons ago in relation to what I had achieved having the possibility to be part of HIVE. My Anecdote
The time has come to share one of my anecdotes. In fact, I have many because my creativity has increased exponentially as our situation has become more complex. I am never in the business of complaining. My only option is to transform the energy associated with each event or situation. That is why we are energy and energy transforms.
A few moons ago, when toiletries became scarce and prices were prohibitively expensive, I decided to do something to avoid having to take the option of lower cost products that were of very low quality. I decided to make toilet soaps. I am a chemist by profession; however, I had never made soaps before. I knew the theoretical knowledge, I knew the processes involved. I made the decision and located a vegetable oil that at that time was a problem because it was a waste product and was already causing a problem in terms of effluent management and, of course, at the environmental level. To make the soaps I needed an alkali and I had it in good quantity at home, congratulations! That residual oil, after several tests, I managed to purify it. With the oil already free of impurities and ready to be used in compliance with the bioethical process, I made a base soap. This base soap fulfilled a very important characteristic: it did not irritate the skin. However, I was not satisfied and I managed to make a resuspension of that base soap and I made again a mixture in which an additional ingredient was incorporated that gave that soap a characteristic of excellent quality toilet soap. I added oatmeal, sometimes oatmeal and honey, oatmeal and dried cayenne flowers, oatmeal and coconut oil. That's how it came out of a need on a personal level, a venture. I made many soaps. I even improved the base soap and used it to wash clothes without damaging fabrics. I managed to sell the surplus soaps and my soaps were used by many people. The results were excellent. I got money from the sale of the soaps to cover my family budget and to continue investing. It was an enriching experience. In the future, I am thinking of investing to make soaps again on a larger production scale. The most important thing I have already done, I managed to optimize the process after an exhaustive research and reinvention process.
