A: Somebody has decided The most powerful man in the world should be prevented from speaking to the public over the internet.
B: Was able to make that happen.
C: We don't even know their name.
If Trump and his supporters aren't actively looking for places without such people, they're choosing to continue to empower them.

This is a huge opportunity for Hive.
We have everything Trump needs and we are far more censorship resistant than any other platform.:
Numerous front-ends (Trump could quickly create his own based on scot-bot or LeoFinance model), 19 API nodes and growing quickly (@blocktrades has written how a API node with 4/8 CPU with 64Gb RAM and 2TB NVME can handle ALL Hive's current traffic - Anyone with a bit of tech experience can spin one of these up).
Even if Big Tech tries blocking front ends how easy is it to spin up a condenser front end.
Trump may well try Parler or Gab or other centralised right wing platforms first, but they will get blocked and banned and sued.
This is something we need to work on over the next few months - getting Trump to Hive.
But you know that this would mean WAR between Big Tech, MSM and HIVE! Are we ready for that? 😨
This will play out over many months.
Trump will come to Hive as a last resort when he is banned everywhere else IF we can let someone in his camp know about us.
In March I expect that one of the most senior Judges of the Australian Federal Court will rule that there is a prima facie case that Facebook & Google engaged in illegal (and criminal) cartel conduct in banning cryptocurrency ads in 2018. Twitter and other are implicated too.
The fight back against Big Tech is underway. Six anti-trust cases by US states against Big Tech will not go away. Crypto is mooning which means big $ in the pockets of libertarian crypto early adopters.
With anyone able to run a Hive API node able to handle all Hive's traffic on a $1000 PC (thanks to @blocktrades) Hive is ready for a massive influx of users and able to defend against the attacks that will come.
Unlike Parler or Gab or Minds, HIVE is fully decentralised - very difficult to shut down.
Can't argue with any of that. 🙂
The only thing that could throw a wrench into the gears is if we've lost the impartiality of the courts . . .
Edit: But that still wouldn't negate all the advantages of HIVE.

I'm unsure about US Courts but I know that Australian Courts are unbiased on this issue.
Even though the Democrats have Facebook & Google on a leash for now, they know how dangerous their power is and will be keen to reign it in.
Sounds plausible; let's hope they're not too late. Seems like the closer someone is to the CCP though, the more blackmail power they have over everyone else. Apple, for example, is a practical siamese twin. The CCP might already own Big Tech, and Big Tech just might own even the Dems already. Who knows? But we need to be careful about who we confront and its possible fallout. You know . . . just saying . . . playing the devil's advocate here.
