Picture is worth a 1,000 words as the wise people would say. Today I sold off some more layer two tokens for Hive and earlier I use those Hive to powered up. With the power up I have reach a milestone in Hive Power.
Where I am regarding to HP?
For those who have followed me and others who have participated in my daily Rising Stars Cards giveaways it is thanks to your upvotes and engagement that has gotten me this far into the Hive power up.
Currently base on hivebuzz.me my overall HP ranking has me ranked 3,181. I am actually a little surprise it would be this high considering that are over 382 million Hives ever created. So at 3k Hive out of 382 million it is less than 0.00078% of the total supply to get oneself nearly in the top 3,000 users in Hive Power. That seems very feasible to do for anyone but it took me over three years :p
How I Earned the Hives?
My focal points on this blog has mostly been the daily giveaways and stories related to the crypto, most specifically on the financial aspects. from there I do what I can to attract more viewers to my blogs and in turn hope for more upvotes and participation. The dedicated daily post is challenging but I have learned it must be done in order to retain the audience. In the three years I been here I have not done daily blogs until really the start of 2021. I hope to continue creating daily content that will keep existing viewership while adding new ones as time moves forward
Although post earnings are a large portion of my HP earnings I also play a lot of Hive blockchain games and have amass a decent portfolio of crypto/game assets. While not shown as much on my blog are my gaming activities. The Hive blockchain games I participate in such as:
Splinterlands
Rising Stars
dCity.
I have also played Holybread, Steemnova, Cryptobrewer, Exode, and upcoming dCrop. However the three games listed above are now my primary games I visit daily. The time spent in each from top to bottom where at the top I spend the most is Splinterlands, (~2 hours) a day and the least is at the bottom in dCity. I check my dCity near the end of the day and spend at most (15 minutes) a day.
My earnings in those games have help accelerate my gains in amassing to 3k HP. I will continue to play those games in hopes to continue earning more HP, while having fun.
My Splinterland account net value based on peakmonster.com is actually more than my hive account. This would make sense since I spend more time playing the game than blogging over the course of over three years.
I continue to play mostly Splinterlands and intend to do so as I set my eyes to achieving 1,000,000 DEC burn rate of cards. Mean while when ever I see potential sales of cards I want to collect I spend what Hive or DEC I saved to purchase them. I am an Alpha card collector and have almost every 1bcx Alpha card except for three of them.
What is Next?
It was near the end of 2020 that I had a goal set to reach 10,000 HP by end of 2021. I still have a long way to go and less than eight months to do it. Still I believe I can do it as I have learned through the process of earning HP is that what I have accumulated so far grows more by itself and I can potential earn more through upvoting at a higher HP. To keep myself movitated daily I set a mini milestone of reaching 4,000 HP. Just like I am now celebrating my 3,000 marker it helps keeping the eyes straight toward what the end goal for me really is.
The digital age of hustling is what I am trying to perfect here. Log on daily to Ecency and make sure I post at least twice a day. One post is related to a giveaway and another post that is crypto news related. Any additional free time I play Hive blockchain games and sometimes curate other people's posts.
I read, write, and eat Hive all day and night. I am active in social discord channels and twitter that have some association with Hive. The amount of time I put in daily since the start of 2021 has been a lot more than what had done in past years. This is because I am really trying to hustle my way to 10k HP..
I hope once I have amass enough HP I will be able to have enough influence to upvote other people's content so that I can be more passive on the platform than I am now. Do not get me wrong I want to spend as much of my free time to anything related to HIve, but it also takes time to venture out and learn new things that I can continuously share and make my blog here more interesting.

I think your doing a great job and 10k HP shouldn't take too long when you are consistent. I don't know about the rate of growth but I guess I am probably in the range of 100-150HP gained per month right now. It's a slow grind but I am seeing the growth and it should only get easier over time.
