Time Mage's Love Affair

Ultear was walking at the beach late at night. She was enjoying the cool summer night's breeze as the sea gently washes the shore away and softly caressed her feet. She was walking by the side of the shore and she feels a bit chilly so she had her hands wrapped around herself in an attempt to shield herself away from the cold. She doesn't mind it though, the cold never bothered her anyway, but it was just the human reflex that made her shiver like that.

The moon was full and it was illuminating ever brightly over the seas. It was just so beautiful and she sat down on the fine white sand of the beach. It was still chilly and she could hear the howling of the distant horizon bouncing on the calm surface of the sea.

Suddenly, she felt a warm touch on her shoulders and it was followed by a silky smooth and gentle touch of what seemed to be a shoal or a scarf. She turned around and she was delighted to see a familiar face, a lovely face, a face she had been longing to see and touch for quite a long time. It was Evelyn. Evelyn was a Knight for the empirical palace and she was away for battle.

"Eve..." even before Ultear could speak, Evelyn went in to kiss her on the lips. And Ultear couldn't complain, not that she wanted to, she missed that kiss and she always fear that she wouldn't be able to taste Evelyn's lips again and afraid that she will perish in battle.

The two ladies pulled out and Evelyn sat beside Ultear. Evelyn gave Ultear the flower she brought. It was a rare species of plant and it was an attack plant too. It was known as the Stitch Leech.

"Eve... you didn't have to." Ultear said as she took the plant and put it aside.

"I missed you, my love. Pardon me. I wouldn't want to part from you but duty always calls. It isn't really easy on me too." Evelyn said.

"No. It's okay, I understand. I know what a Chaos Knight for the empire has to bear. And that being said, I would like to be with you, here and on the battlefield." Ultear said.

"You don't mean..."

"Yes dear."

The calm sea suddenly erupted into a disrupted swirling tornado. The couple jumped up and walked back.

An evil laugh rang across the shore as Kelya Frendul emerged from the depths of the sea.
"What an unsightly reunion. Very touching. But Ultear is mine."

Kelya Frendul is the princess of the Water Splinters Kingdom and she wants Ultear all to herself.

"Chaos Knight, unhand her. She's mine." Kelya screamed.

"Nooo!!!" Ultear said.

Evelyn held Ultear's hand and pulled her back.

"Stay back my love. We will show this fiend what we can do if we're together."

"As you wish." Ultear said.

"Don't you guys forget this old hag. Let me join you and show this Kelya Frendul what it means to go up against Mother Kayla. Give them the divine punishment my children." Mother Khala said.

She was an old woman who had just come out from nowhere. She's the caretaker of the beach house Ultear was staying at.

They all fell in formation at Mother Khala's guidance. Her blessing gives all of them an additional HP. It's a good thing for Ultear because as a Time Mage, she has a low HP although she relies on it too.

In front, the valiant Chaos Knight stood proudly.

With her Shield ability she tries to take every hit at a decreased capacity to keep Ultear, the Time Mage away from harm's way.

Supporting her lover, Time Mage comes behind her and supports her by attacking from behind.

image.png

She has the ability to manipulate time for her enemies. She casts a spell that disrupts the very fabric of space and time to make the enemies' movements slower than they are used to.

At the back, the flower that she received from the Chaos Knight is also an attacker-type plant so they brought it to the battle too.

The Stitch Leech covers the Time Mage from back attacks and it also complements her in attacking. Even though the plant is placed at the back, it can attack the enemy from behind with its Sneak ability.

The coast was clear and the battle has begun.

Try as they may, Keyla and her troops of Water Splinter monsters weren't a match for the lovers' relentless connection and flawless coordination in battle. They both stood victorious and just made out over Kelya Frendul's ruins.

"Yes. Yes. I'll be with you no matter what Eve."

"That sounds like a plan."
