Furthermore ones ability to purchase one asset isn't an indication of a nation's wealth or wealth distribution. Successive Liberal governments have eroded much of our social safety and privatised much of our assets. Yet Daniel Andrews is a bad person? Liberals would and are worse on the wealth distribution front proven time and time again.

Data proves the same thing though. You can see the initial death rate quite high as Sweden only has a total pop of 5.8 Million easier to control.
When we look to New Zealand and Australia that initial death rate is low. Our excess death rate has spiked now due to removing all restrictions during a year of federal and state elections.
The virus has weakened which it would always have done and will continue to do so. Had we had the same virus we would have that initial death rate now. But our excess death rate with removed restrictions is still lower.
I agree with the comments there was nothing academic about it. The evidence is clearly shown in death rates. Those are people's loved ones and family members.
Our grandparents died in wars, staying home was a small sacrifice. It does highlight the issues of domestic violence and youth supports. Something all nations should be ashamed of.
