I have to admit, 2005's Pride & Prejudice is actually the Mount Everest among romantic films.

It has it all:
✅ dreamy costumes
✅a bygone era
✅ a love story that unfolds slower than the thawing of a glacier.
✅and then the language..... oh the language is like a poem 🥰

Plus, Mr. Darcy? Forget Mr. Right, he's Mr. Make-You-Work-For-It.

No insta-love here, just that delicious "enemies to love" tension that makes your heart dance.

And then when he finally utters that "most ardently", well, let's just say my inner hopeless romantic melts faster than the speed of lightning.

Nice description. I've never seen it. I thought I was doing good sitting in the theater to watch Titanic when it first came out. Is this one as long as the Titanic?

Thankfully, unlike the epic three-hour Titanic (which is still a great movie!), this movie is a tight two hours that are absolutely worth your time. 🥰

An "everyone must watch" movie!

They don’t make movies like this anymore.
