The reward pools are really a hot topic as everyone is giving their two and three cents about it. It was once brought up in the spaces and i saw as a lot of people were against it being removed while others tried staying positive m personally, at the time, i thought to myself what will it be replaced with once it is removed?

This fund pool rewards the content creators and curators giving them 50% each of the 100% post payout. It is decentralized and i think everyone loves a good ol' decentralized system because then it doesn't just focus on something or someone or someplace but instead, everyone gets a stipend and everyone is happy with getting rewarded.
I think the reward pool is as good as is and i personally think that it serves as a great incentive for not just hive users but potential hive users too as it motivates one to know that as you create contents, you get rewarded and as you appreciate contents, you get rewarded. I wonder what could be fairer but i sure trust that there may be better mechanisms in the future or even now that i do not know of. Ha! Please this is all just my opinion and not to be quoted as an authority. So, basically the rewards can just come as they do from the rewards pool unless we do have something better than this.
I've learnt something about the layer 2 apps and tokens which are also amazing ways of appreciating content creation ...good content creation if i may put it that way. People love to get rewards and incentives that boost their activities and engagement in whatever project or work whatsoever. So yes, the proofofbrain is getting a vote of confidence from me?! Whatever will be reached for fair distribution of rewards to content creators, i hope it'll be something as good as or even better than the reward pool but i still think that the reward pool should remain as is. The idea of taking away the reward pool for me does not exist. Web3 is all about incentivization. The reward pool provides that economic opportunity to be active and publish content on Hive. If removed, many will just quit. Both the Hive and layer two tokens are doing a great the way they are shared through the reward pool.
For me, the reward pool should remain as it is or more incentives be added to it, there's no need to remove it, it's majorly why many are here and more are also coming to onboard, it's very important for hivers.
