I did not forget that, I just didn't think it was relevant in this equation. Sun wasn't the one in charge with that steem was being sold.
Also, that money is not "gone" that steem was bought by someone and the steem is now in their hands.
If anything, it helped with decentralization. Unless of course, Sun was aquiring it this whole time without us knowing and owns even more than we think.
