Having a similar choice 12 years ago, I chose to leave and embrace a completely new career. It is never to late. :)

For me, this is a new career - haven't been in it for 4 years yet, which is a short time for this kind of thing. Though, I still have a foot in my old world too :)
How has the last 12 years been and do you ever miss before?
I do not miss it, as it was accounting kind of stuff in front of a computer for 10 years, alone in my cubicle, and now I work with people, in healthcare, totally different.
Now sounds heaps better.
