Probably the best thing to do with Hive laying around at this moment is to power up and increase your influence in the community.
This is my first power up post but not my first power up. I think that now is a good time to power up. There will be a lot of use cases coming up, but the 1 dollar Hive seems a little more in the future. So I'm not sure if I need so much liquid Hive hanging around. I'm finding it cheaper to buy Hive these days and picking some up at the markets and trading some HBDs.
The part about Hive power I like best is that it comes back to me through curation. It takes a little work, but Hive power increases automatically with rewards.
This month Hive has shown its favor on me more than others and I have been able to keep with posting at least a couple times a week.
Hive is really important, but as I interact with the community more I see the real goal is having people who support each other. Recently I have seen the value of the inkwell prompts and have been challenged to write. In doing so I meet other writers and I have completed stories each week. They are not always my best stories due to time constraints, but it's amazing that the community still pours their love and support.
For these reasons I am powering up today and hopefully more than just HPUD.
