Marketing tactics or not! Whatever can take his bloody hands off pumping and dumping Hive tokens just to make Hive look bad works for me. So if there are more people who are being distracted by these meaningless shiny toys rather than bugging the hell out of other projects just because they have nothing else to do can jump on the NFT wagon as far as I’m concerned.
Eventually, NFTs with real utility will surface while those meaningless ones will be left behind. Meaningless NFT’s are only better than meme tokens with no utility. Meaningless NfTs only stand a better chance of going extinct because a utility can easily be tied into it and fly rather than on useless meme tokens.

No matter how great any space is, there are always abusers and bad actors spreading here and there. But just as you've said: real utility will surface while those meaningless ones will be left behind
