In today's world, we lived in global community and a circle village, were we have to duplicate, create and renovate the deeds and behavior of people in order to enhance living. Most of those things we copy from people may be negative or positive things and maybe harmful to us or helpful to us it's all depends on the nature of what we chose to copy and duplicate from people.

In my perspective, the above topic "Peer pressure" is a very powerful force out society that can have both negatives and positive effects on individuals as I have made mentioned before.
The positive peer pressure may encourage individuals to make good and healthy choices while striving for success and negative peer pressure is the reverse of the latter and can lead individuals down a dangerous path which regret will be emphasized at the end.

Good companies and companions can't can't never be a actor of negative pressure but bad friends can, this occurs when an individual is greatly influenced by his mates, friends and peer to indulge in illicit act such as vandalizing of properties, drugs, alcohol and smoking and risky sexual behaviors, all these may happen inorder to gain popularity, favors and to level up with the peer.

Some of the most significant and dangerous effects of negative peer pressure are always seen in the life, character and deeds of individual's emotional mental and well-being. No doubt that if an individuals is pressured to indulge in any behaviors that is or go against their values of standards or beliefs, it may lead to feelings of regrets, shame, guilt, and low self-esteem. With all that, mental state of the individual concerns may not be at it's best well-being, and that may have a long-lasting effects on the person.
In today's world, the negatives activities our young individuals and adults engaged on can also bring a big detrimental impact on their physical health. Indulging in such as drug and alcohol, which may lead death, addiction, and health issues. As it's seen in smoking which can lead to respiratory issues, heart disease and failure, and above all cancer.
When our young teenagers and young individuals indulge in all those illegals act, they'll start skipping classes in the school as a result in poor academic performance and assumed limited opportunities for future purposes and success.
This negative effects of Peer pressure can ruined a person family, friends etc relationship, and can lead the person concerns to have the feelings of loneliness and isolations.
With all these harmful effects, Its quite necessary and important for an individuals to recognize the signs of negative peer pressure and carved out ways to cub it, and that can only be done through surrounding oneself with positive minded people and positive influences, and setting boundaries with peers of bad and negative effects and behaviors.

The circle of friends and people that surround one is a great influence to the disposition to practicing or exhibiting some characters which are the results of peer pressure. I was once influenced to consuming alcohol but quickly, desisted from it when the friend that caused it was removed from my circle. Thank you for sharing
