It is December 15 and another opportunity to participate in Leo Power Up Day. I missed last month. However, I am now here - ensuring that I participate this time around - the last time for this year.
London, Christmas 2018
The Christmas season is upon us and (mostly) everyone is thinking about the holidays or already preparing for it. Whilst doing so - we often spend more than normal. This is because we would like to celebrate the festive season incoporating elements from our cultures, traditions or customs.
This past year, saw price hikes which perpetuated throughout the global economy - every where and everyone was affected. Each person has their own story about how it impacted them: whether it was whilst making trips to the supermarket or whilst buying products for businesses.
The one thing that's for sure is that we learn to make amends and:
- Cut back on waste and superfluous activities in general
- Create a budget for necessities and stick to it
- Find efficient ways to do things hence do them differently
- Look for ways to supplement income
- Try other brands
- Visit farmers' markets etc.
Oftentimes when we make concesssions. Sometimes we reallise and identify things which were not necessary - that we can do without them. We become creative and find other ways of doing things and become more thrifty. We save for important events or special moments - for instance Christmas holidays.
Spending time together during this special holiday season is important to many of us. We then appreciate that ithe time together is more important than how much we spend on each other. At these times, we tend to take into account what is most important in life. Being together, caring and sharing takes on a new meaning. The spirit of the season is always present and can be enjoyed together.
Somehow with human resilience we carry on. We hope for better times ahead as nothing last forever. Thus, we hope to be in a better financial position in the near future. This season is about togetherness, love, positivity and hope.
LPUD
Hence in the spirit of things, I just powered up 715.01 LEO. That is 25.7% of my LP stake.
I had 2,780.94 LP before and now I have 3,495.95 LP.
This is a normal LPUD but it also qualifies me for the End of year edition of LPUD. What is that?
It's InLEO's way to thank LIONS. So:
a) If you have more than 1500 LP, stake at least 15% of your existing stake*
b) If you have less than 1500 LP, reach 1500 staked $leo tokens.
I did a) because I had over 1500 LP.

Christmas in London, 2018 was a blast as I could see the light glittering. I hope it is same this year too.
