My journey in the Frontier format continues in Splinterlands, and today I'm going to buy some Foundation packs to add more Foundation cards to my collection.
Currently I'm playing in both the Frontier and Wild formats. I chose these two formats because they're the easiest for me to manage. In the Frontier format, I don't need to worry about renting cards or SPS, so I can play whenever I want, and in the Wild format, I can play manually and also use Xbot when I don't have time.
I only use Xbot when I don't have time to play, most of the time I try to play manually because I enjoy playing Splinterlands.
In the Frontier format, my focus is to level up all the Foundation cards to the maximum level. After completing this goal, I'll sell the Foundation cards I've acquired because I also see Splinterlands as an investment.

To buy Foundation packs, you need to go to the SHOP option and then to Card Packs.

On this page you will find all the packs available for sale in Splinterlands (most of them are sold by other players).

The last time I bought Foundation packs they cost $0.14 and now it's possible to buy them for $0.10. This is good news for those who want to buy Foundation cards because they are cheaper, but it's terrible news for those who want to profit in this format.

Today I decided to buy 3 more Foundation packs and now let's see if I'll have the same luck as the last time I opened Foundation packs.

On this page you will find all the packs in Splinterlands and be able to open the ones you own. To find this page you just need to click on the OPEN option in the upper corner of the screen on the Splinterlands website.
A tip to increase your chances of getting Legendary and Gold Foil cards is to use Alchemy potions and Legendary potions.
Alchemy Potions will increase your chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
Legendary Potions will increase your chances of getting Legendary cards.
Now it's time to open the packs and see which cards I'll get.

These are the cards I received opening the Foundation packs, and for a moment I thought I was lucky enough to get a Gold Foil legendary card, but it was just a common Gold Foil card.

This time my luck wasn't good, and the total value of the cards I got in the packs was only $0.20, which means I lost money.
Buying cards on the market might be the best option most of the time, but I like the thrill of opening packs, and for that reason I try my luck sometimes.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
