Today I'm going to open Chaos Legion packs and expand my card collection in Splinterlands.
One of my main goals in Splinterlands is to have a powerful deck for battles, and I find it very easy to play with the cards from the Chaos Legion edition, so this is one of the editions I want to have in my collection. It's also a great option to start with in Splinterlands because the prices of the packs and cards are cheaper than those of other editions.
To buy Chaos Legion packs, I have the option of buying them on the Hive Engine or in Splinterlands.

On the Hive Engine, the pack costs 3.34 Hive, which is equivalent to $0.37.

In Splinterlands, the pack costs 676 DEC, which is equivalent to $0.37.
The price is the same in both places, so I'll choose the option of buying the packs in Splinterlands because it's easier to open them.
I decided to buy 2 packs, so I spent 1352 DEC. Now I'm going to go to the OPEN option to open the packs.

The OPEN option is in the upper left corner of the screen.

On this page you will open your Splinterlands and Soulkeep packs. I only have 2 Chaos Legion packs to open today and I hope I'm lucky enough to get great cards.
When opening the packs, you have the option to use alchemy potions and legendary potions.
Alchemy potions increase your chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
Legendary potions increase your chances of getting Legendary cards.
I recommend that you always use these potions because Gold Foil cards and Legendary cards are more valuable.

Opening packs was the right decision today because I got the Fungus Spawn card, which is one I wanted in my collection because it costs 0 mana, so I can easily use it in battles with low mana available.
Another very useful card is Merdaali Guardian, it will be very useful in my strategies with healing abilities.
Normally I would buy cards on the market because it's the best option since you don't depend on luck, but I like opening packs because it adds extra excitement to the game and you can also get lucky and get very valuable cards.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
