Today I'm going to buy more Foundation Packs in Splinterlands to expand my Foundation card collection in the game, so join me on this brief journey of discovery.
To buy Foundation Packs, you need to go to the SHOP option in the upper corner of the Splinterlands website and click on Cards Packs.
On this page you will find all the packs available for sale in Splinterlands. Most of the pack editions listed here are from other players selling the packs.
I'm a big fan of the Chaos Legion edition because when I discovered Splinterlands, that was the edition being released at the time and it was also the golden age of the game. Currently, my focus is on Chaos Legion edition cards, Foundation cards, and Gladiator cards.
Foundation cards and Foundation packs are depreciating in value every day, and that's good news for those who want to evolve their cards to the maximum level, so I'm going to take advantage of this and buy 4 more Foundation packs to open.
Each Foundation pack currently costs $0.093, which is equivalent to 162 DEC considering the current DEC price of $0.00057.
To buy 4 packs I will spend 659 DEC, and in my opinion this is a very low price for Splinterlands packs, but since it's possible to get Foundation cards and Foundation packs in the Frontier format with little investment, I can understand the low price.
After buying your packs you will need to open them, and to do this you just need to go to the OPEN option on the Splinterlands website.
On this page you will find all the packs that exist in Splinterlands and you will be able to open the ones you own.
Important Detail
In Splinterlands there are Alchemy potions and Legendary potions; they are a great option to increase your chances of getting valuable cards in the game.
Alchemy Potion: This potion increases your chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
Legendary Potion: This potion increases your chances of getting Legendary cards.
You can buy the potions for Glint, DEC, DEC-B, and Credits in the Consumables SHOP.
Now I'm going to open the packs and see if I was lucky enough to get some great cards for my collection.
These are the cards I got from opening the Foundation packs, and I wasn't lucky enough to get any Legendary or Gold Foil cards, not even an Epic card. But my focus is on evolving my cards, so they will all be useful in my collection.
I spent $0.37 on the 4 Foundation packs, and the total value of the cards I obtained is $0.35, so it wasn't a bad result.
Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
