Today I'm going to show you how to test all the cards for free in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge.
In Splinterlands there's a Practice Mode, and it's a very useful "tool" for players to test cards and strategies without having to play ranked battles and lose league points.

To find Practice Mode in Splinterlands, you need to click on PLAY in the upper left corner of the site and choose the PRACTICE option.

This is where the magic happens, and I'll explain how each setting in this mode works.
There are 3 settings in Practice Mode: Cards Allowed, Difficulty (Level Caps) and Opponent.
Now I'll show you the usefulness of each of these settings.
Cards Allowed
In this setting, you choose which cards you can use in battle. The options are: All Cards, Modern, Ghost Cards and Ghost Modern.
All Cards: In this option, you can use the cards you own or have rented.
Modern: In this option, you will be able to use the cards you own or have rented, but only the cards that are allowed in the Modern format.
Ghost Cards: In this option, you will be able to use all the cards from Splinterlands.
Ghost Modern: In this option, you will be able to use all the cards from Splinterlands that are allowed in the Modern format.
I like to use the Ghost Cards option because it gives me access to all the cards in Splinterlands and because I play in the Wild format, so it's the best option for me. But if your focus is the Modern format, then the Ghost Modern option will be the best.
Difficulty (Level Caps)
In this setting, you will choose the maximum level of the cards in battle. The options are: Novice, Adept, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.
Novice: This option is equivalent to the Novice league.
Adept: This option is equivalent to the Bronze league.
Intermediate: This option is equivalent to the Silver league.
Advanced: This option is equivalent to the Gold league.
Expert: This option is equivalent to the Diamond/Champion league.
I play in the Diamond/Champion league, so whenever I use Practice Mode I choose the Expert option, also because I find it the most fun option.
Opponent
In this setting you will choose the difficulty of your opponent, the options are: Inept Student, Skilled Student and Professor.
Inept Student: In this option you will face an easy opponent with no battle experience.
Skilled Student: In this option you will face a slightly more difficult opponent who already has battle experience.
Professor: In this option you will face a difficult opponent who has a lot of battle experience.
I like to use the Skilled Student and Professor options.

After choosing all the settings you just need to click START SESSION.
All opponents are bots, so you will only wait a few seconds for the battle.

Watch The Battle
In the battle I used the following card configurations: Ghost Cards, Expert, and Professor. I used a simple strategy with cards from older editions that are great for the Wild format, and in the end I emerged victorious.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
