My journey to build a card collection in Splinterlands continues, and today I'm going to open some Chaos Legion packs.
As I've mentioned in several other posts, my main focus in the game is getting cards and evolving them. Currently, the cards that catch my attention are the Chaos Legion cards, the new Reward Set cards, the Foundation cards, and the Gladiator cards.
I chose these cards because they are the easiest and cheapest to get in Splinterlands, so if you're a new player, I recommend checking them out.
If you have questions about how to get the new Reward Set cards, then I recommend this post: Explaining How to Get the New Reward Set Cards and My Goal for the Next Season, where I explain how to get these cards in the game.
Now let's get to the main focus of the post, which are the Chaos Legion cards.

This is the Chaos Legion pack, and to get it, you have two options: buy them in Splinterlands or buy them from the Hive Engine.
Buying Chaos Legion Packs in Splinterlands

To buy Chaos Legion packs in Splinterlands, you need to go to the SHOP option in the upper left corner of the website and choose the Card Packs option, then choose the Chaos Legion pack.

Currently, the lowest price for the Chaos Legion pack in Splinterlands is 564 DEC, which is equivalent to $0.34.
Now let's take a look at the Hive Engine.
Hive Engine

Currently, the lowest price for the Chaos Legion pack in the Hive Engine is 2.84 Swap.Hive, which is equivalent to $0.30.
The best option currently to buy Chaos Legion packs is on the Hive Engine, but always keep an eye on both options because sometimes it's cheaper in Splinterlands.

I decided to buy 4 packs and in total I spent 11.39 Swap.Hive.
After purchasing your packs from the Hive Engine, you will need to transfer them to Splinterlands.

Click the OPEN option in the upper left corner of the Splinterlands website. This option will open the packs and allow you to transfer them to Splinterlands.

Choose the pack you wish to transfer and select the Transfer option.

In the Transfer option, select "Hive Engine" to "In Game".
Now just wait for the packs to arrive and open them. Don't forget to use Alchemy Potions and Legendary Potions when opening the packs.
Alchemy Potion: This potion increases your chances of getting Gold Foil cards.
Legendary Potion: This potion increases your chances of getting Legendary cards.
Now let's see the cards I received.

Unfortunately, I only received 1 Gold Foil card, and it was a common card, so it's not very valuable. In this pack I wasn't very lucky, but I did get one card of the summoner Kelya Frendul, who is a great summoner in battles, so it wasn't all bad.
My total cost in packs was approximately $1.20, now let's see the value of the cards I received.

The total value of the cards I received is $0.41, so I lost money.
Opening packs in Splinterlands depends on luck; you can get very valuable cards or cards that are worth almost nothing. I like opening packs because it's always exciting, but to build a card collection I recommend buying cards on the market because it's more effective and doesn't depend on luck.
