Today I'm going to talk about my favorite strategy for battles in Splinterlands, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge.
When it comes to battle strategy, the one I like to use most is attack speed because it gives my monsters a chance to attack first and also allows them to dodge attacks more easily.

The card I like to use most in my attack speed strategy is Spirit Miner. It's a legendary card from the neutral deck and has 2 abilities that will be a great help to my strategy.
Spirit Miner costs 6 mana, has a spell attack, and has 3 abilities: Dodge, Swiftness and Blind.

Dodge: With this ability, Spirit Miner will have a +25% chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks.

Swiftness: With this ability, Spirit Miner will increase the attack speed of all allied monsters by +1 while it is in battle.
If the Spirit Miner is defeated in battle, then its allied monsters lose this buff.

Blind: With this ability, the Spirit Miner will increase the chances of enemy monsters hitting their attacks by +15%.
If the Spirit Miner is defeated in battle, then the enemy monsters lose this debuff.
In my opinion, the Spirit Miner is a perfect card when it comes to dodging attacks, but it has low health, so my strategy is to use it in the last position to dodge attacks from enemy monsters that have the Sneak ability.
To show how useful the Spirit Miner is in battles, I'll show it in action and you'll see how great an ally it is.

Watch The Battle
This is the battle I'll use as an example. In it, the Spirit Miner is at its maximum level, meaning it has the 3 abilities I mentioned above.
It was a long battle, but I have to say it was also an easy one because I managed to emerge victorious without losing any of my monsters. Now let's understand the battle.
Both players had cards at maximum level, had 56 mana available, and the rules were: Close Range, High Five and Armored Up.

Close Range: In the Close Range rule, monsters with ranged attacks can attack in the first position.

High Five: In the High Five rule, players can only use 5 monsters in the battle.

Armored Up: In the Armored Up rule, all monsters have +2 armor.
My strategy in this battle was very simple: my focus was to increase the attack speed of my monsters and decrease the attack speed of the enemy monsters, so I used monsters with the Swiftness and Slow abilities.
The Coeurl Lurker was one of the keys to victory because it has the Taunt ability, meaning it would be the main target of the enemy monsters, and during this battle it received all the attacks and still managed to survive.
To complete my strategy, I used the summoner Risqruel Drath, which grants the Flying ability to my monsters, meaning they would have a better chance of dodging attacks. Another important detail was the Wood Nymph with the Tank Heal ability, giving my Coeurl Lurker a better chance of surviving.
The battle lasted 11 rounds, and if you watch it, you'll see how important attack speed is in Splinterlands because my opponent missed 80% of their attacks.
This is one of the strategies I use most in battles, I hope you liked it.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
