My Strategy for the New Rewards on October 21st in Splinterlands

in LeoFinance16 hours ago

My strategy in Splinterlands was to only play Frontier mode, but after Splinterlands announced a new Reward Set coming on October 21st, I'm finally going back to Wild mode because it gave me hope of making great profits from the game again.

For those who haven't yet read about the new changes coming on October 21st, read the post: 🧙‍♂️ The Conclave Arcana Reward Set: A New Era of Ranked Rewards and Distribution.

When I started Splinterlands in 2022, the rewards were great (although some say they were even better back then). While I love playing Splinterlands because I love this style of play, I still have to view the game as an investment since I spent money on it. That's why I switched to Frontier mode. In this mode, I could make some profits and also get the thrill of owning cards that were truly mine, not Soulbounds.

I'm currently in the Bronze II league in Frontier mode, and my goal is to try to get the three daily rewards. I use the cards I earn to evolve my current Foundation cards and thus improve my deck so I can reach even higher leagues. The focus is to evolve all Foundation cards to the maximum level and sell any duplicate cards I get that are no longer useful for my deck.

Right now, as I write this, I'm playing Splinterlands and managed to get my first reward of the day.

If you're interested in learning more about Frontier mode and how to get started for free (you'll still need 1 Spellbook), read my post: Explaining How the Frontier Format Works in Splinterlands.

In Wild mode, I'm in the Diamond III league. This makes my life much easier because I won't need to climb all the leagues again, and my goal will be to reach the Champion I league every season to maximize my SPS and Glint earnings. Mainly my Glint earnings because to get cards and Unbiding Scrolls, I'll need to open Loot Chests.

We're currently in the Halloween event, which started on October 14th and runs until November 4th. This is another incentive to collect Glint and open Loot Chests because I'll have a chance to get Skins, and perhaps in the future they'll be tradable.

Read the post: 🕯️ Hallow’s Fall: Limited-Edition Halloween Skins Descend on Splinterlands! 🎃, for more information about the Halloween event in Splinterlands.

My goal is to accumulate Glint and start opening Loot Chests on October 21st. I hope there will still be Skins available in Loot Chests until that day, as there are a limited number of Skins.

I don't have much time to play Splinterlands because I have a full-time job, so my strategy is to focus on Wild mode and, if I have time, I'll continue playing Frontier mode as well to maximize my in-game earnings. One of my goals is still to get a strong deck in Splinterlands, so I'll keep the cards I find useful and sell the others to buy better ones on the market.

I'm looking forward to October 21st, and since today is Saturday, I'll start my journey in Wild mode and accumulate as much Glint as possible until the new rewards arrive.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
