I love using melee cards in Splinterlands, and the reason is that they're usually great for both offense and defense. Today I'm going to talk about Nullwrought. It's one of the cards from the new Reward Set, and it caught my attention because it costs little mana, deals a lot of damage, and has a great debuff for battles.

For those who don't know Nullwrought, it's the card in the image above, and as you can see, it has 5 melee attack at maximum level and great abilities.
Nullwrought is a legendary card in the Death deck, meaning you'll need 11 of them to level it up to level 4.
Now let's look at Nullwrought's abilities: Bloodline Tribute, Sneak, Demoralize and Affliction.

Bloodline Tribute: When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armor, and +1 power for each shared attack type.

Sneak: This ability makes Nullwrought target the enemy monster in the last position. Another important detail is that with the Sneak ability, Nullwrought can attack in any position, even though it's a melee card.

Demoralize: This ability makes Nullwrought reduce the melee attack of all enemy monsters by -1. Remember that if Nullwrought is defeated in battle, then the enemy monsters will regain their melee attack.

Affliction: This ability gives Nullwrought a 50% chance to apply the effect: Afflicted to the enemy monster it attacks. Monsters with Afflicted cannot heal themselves or receive healing.
This is a great combination of abilities, but I would like Nullwrought even more if it had the Blast ability because its main focus is dealing damage in battle, but even so, it's still a great card.
Keep in mind when using Nullwrought that it has two disadvantages:
It has low health, so it can be easily defeated if it's the main target of attacks.
It has low attack speed, so it will have difficulty dodging attacks and will also take a while to attack.
My journey through the new Reward Set cards begins next season, and my goal will be to evolve the cards I like to the maximum level and sell those that are useless to me or burn them to get more cards at Glint's shop.
My focus will be on Loot Chests because I like to try my luck with them, so I can get jackpots and energy to increase my number of battles during the season.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
