The Powerful Kralus Card

in LeoFinance3 days ago (edited)

Today I'm going to talk about the Kralus card, so join me on this brief journey of knowledge.

In the past, the Untamed edition was my favorite in Splinterlands, but nowadays it's not common to see these cards on the battlefield. I still like using Untamed edition cards because, unlike before, you can rent or buy them for a much lower price.

The Kralus card was very popular in life decks, and if you played in the higher leagues, it was essential in battles to defeat your opponents. It was the card with the highest mana cost at the time, and its attack and defense are excellent.

Kralus has melee and spell attacks, so it's a great choice for dealing damage, but what I like most about it is its high amount of health and armor, as well as its abilities.

In total, Kralus has 4 abilities: Immunity, Flying, Heal, and Strengthen.

Immunity: Provides immunity to magic debuffs and Cripple.

With this ability, Kralus will defend against all Negative Status effects and will be a great ally when the Noxious Fume rule is in effect in battle.

Flying: +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake.

For those who have faced monsters with this ability, you know how annoying it is and how easily the monster can dodge several attacks.

Heal: Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down).

Healing abilities are excellent in battles, and for Kralus, who will be defending in the first position, it's perfect for her.

Strengthen: +1 max health to all allied units.

Health is essential for monsters, so this ability will be a great help to all your allied monsters.

With this "simple" combination of abilities, the Kralus card will be a great defense for your battles, and I say this in the current battles. Its only drawback is its high mana cost, so you might only use it in battles with a lot of mana available.

To transform the Kralus card into an even better defense, I like to use the summoner Eternal Tofu. It will increase the life of allied monsters by +2 and also grant the Thorns ability. Eternal Tofu has other benefits, but these two are the ones I like the most: them and the Triage ability.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den, and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
