Today I'm going to talk about one of the cards that was my favorite in Splinterlands in the past, but today it's rarely seen in battles. Join me on this brief journey of knowledge.

For those who are veterans of Splinterlands, you should already know Kron the Undying. This legendary monster from the Earth deck has terrorized many players in the past, and its combination with the summoner Scarred Llama Mage was my favorite in the game.
Kron the Undying is a monster with a spell attack, but what really makes it a powerful card are its abilities: Heal, Divine Shield, and Last Stand.

Heal: This ability makes Kron the Undying heal for 1/3 of its maximum life points once per round; this value is rounded down.
A simple and quick example of the Heal ability: Let's say Kron the Undying has 11 health, so that means it will only heal 3 health with the Heal ability, but if it has 12 health then it will heal 4 health.
The minimum healing from the Heal ability is 2 health.

Divine Shield: This ability makes Kron the Undying receive 0 damage once in battle, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed and it returns to receiving damage normally.
Last Stand: This ability makes Kron the Undying increase its stats by 50% when it is the last allied monster in battle.
This ability was truly terrifying because when you combine it with the Heal ability, Kron the Undying becomes a very difficult monster to defeat.
Unfortunately, Kron the Undying only has the Last Stand ability at level 3 or 4. Therefore, it used to be very common to use the summoner card Scarred Llama Mage with Kron the Undying because it grants the Last Stand ability to allied monsters. So even Kron the Undying at level 1 or level 2 would still have this ability and be very powerful in battle.
Now I'll show you in practice how Kron the Undying is an incredible card to have in battles, especially in battles with low mana available (yes, you read that right).

Watch The Battle
The rules in battle are: Dragon Breath, Thick Skinned and Arcane Dampening.
In the battle I used Kron the Undying, which means I didn't need to combine it with the summoner Scarred Llama Mage to have the Last Stand ability. A funny thing is that I used the summoner Underboss Fabino and I forgot that I was supposed to use the Poison ability on an enemy monster, but I used it on Kron the Undying, so throughout the battle it received 2 damage at the beginning of each round.
Despite receiving damage from the Poison ability throughout the battle, Kron the Undying still managed to emerge victorious, and this only shows how incredible a card it is because even with the numerical disadvantage and receiving additional damage, it managed to win the battle, and I'd even say it won easily.
Currently it's not common to find Kron the Undying in battles, and I don't understand why since it continues to be very useful, but this is good news for me because I won't need to face it in my battles.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
