Great analysis. Somethings you highlighted especially in regard of Hive should be taken in account. Followers here dosen't mean as much as other places, and I think is for the better as in my view allow for better relationship to be born other then the insatiable hunger for followers. Though this speak to the hard to market thing for Hive as everybody is used to this mechanic.
By the way love your game progress and I really love the look you gave to it in the last updates

Like the Dark Souls comparison for Hive. It is pretty addicting but difficult at the same time. It really doesn't center around followers and traditional mechanics, the engagement tends to be focused around communities. Which is pretty awesome and different from other social networks.
