Bringing DeFi together to give back
Launched in the summer, the MUNCH Charity Circle is an initiative that allows other DeFi and crypto projects to divert funds to vetted and accredited charitable projects.
Either through sending one-off donations or diverting set portions of transactions to the MUNCH contract address, DeFI projects can choose to give back to causes that matter.
As the leader in the crypto donation space, we utilize our relationships with effective and well-known charities to attract other projects and connect them to causes. We handle the relationships, technical onboarding, and verification process to help other crypto projects donate in a trustless, fungible, and verifiable way.
Projects that donate through the Charity Circle are featured in a leaderboard, showing how much they contributed to the community-chosen causes with top contributors benefiting from further initiatives such as community AMAs and recognition from our charity partners.
Donations will be routed to selected MUNCH charity partners, at the time of donation. As always, these causes are chosen by our community from an approved short-list. All projects are verified and onboarded for crypto donations in advance, making giving back a simple and verifiable process for any DeFi project.
Currently, the MUNCH charity partner is Save The Children and all donations from the Charity Circle and all MUNCH transaction fee donations will be routed to them.

Our latest partner: SafeMoon Inu
As part of our ongoing expansion of the MUNCH Charity Circle, we’re delighted to announce our latest member of the circle, SafeMoon Inu!
SafeMoon Inu is a community-driven ERC20 meme & gaming token. The tokenomics distributes 2% of every transaction to holders while the upcoming play-to-earn gaming platform SMI Play with in-game NFTs will offer additional rewards for SMI token holders.
They reached out to us in order to donate a substantial sum to Save the Children. With a donation of 5.1 ETH, SafeMoon Inu are now the Charity Circle’s leading donor and have made a huge contribution to the lives of the people being helped by Save The Children.
We want to thank them for connecting and for choosing to give back with MUNCH. We look forward to a long and successful collaboration that goes on to help many more people.

As well as this remarkable partnership and donation, we have a number of additional confirmed partners and active discussions with top projects, on-going. These will be announced in the coming days and weeks as their donations are verified and the Charity Circle leaderboard is updated.
