In-Depth Analysis of PolyCub Investment Alternatives

The Polycub launch, which I was eagerly waiting for, took place yesterday. My excitement was not in vain, because on the first day, I earned 500 USD from the platform. I can cash out this return, but I am optimistic about PolyCub's future so I have reinvested it on the platform. Moreover, the amount I mentioned does not include the airdrop amounts for the next 59 days. You might have thought I am a Cub whale to get such a return in one day. My investment in Cub was around 2000 USD. Therefore, I can say that I am an average investor.

I got the first-day return of $500 by utilizing multiple investment alternatives on the platform. While all alternatives are attractive, they have different risk-return profiles.

I will discuss the coins that are the subject of investment on Polycub in 6 groups.

  1. Stable Coins
  2. Stable Coin + Bitcoin or Ethereum Pairs
  3. Bitcoin and Ethereum Pair
  4. Matic and PLeo Pair
  5. Liquidity Pools with PolyCub
  6. xPolyCub

As you can imagine, I made the grouping according to price volatility. Those at the top of the list have relatively low price volatility. The ones below have higher return potential. We can choose from this list, depending on how willing we are to take risks.

An alternative way to earn PolyCub is to invest in Cub pools on https://cubdefi.com/. We still have a 59-day airdrop marathon ahead of us. Therefore, it would be appropriate to consider this alternative as well.

In this part of the article, I would like to evaluate the 6 alternatives I mentioned above, one by one.

1. Stable Coins: DAI-USDT-USDC Kingdoms Pool

Based on the DAI-USDT-USDC LP on the Curve application, this Kingdom investment provides a return of 1166%. This means that there is a 21 percent return weekly. If we want to get our return before 90 days, this rate drops to 10.5%. Considering that the investment contains almost zero price risk, it can be an ideal choice for conservative investors. Although the CertiK audit has been done, there is a small contract hacking risk. I also recommend using Metamask with a hardware wallet such as Ledger, Trezor, regardless of the Polycub platform.

2. Kingdom Pools with Stable Coin + Bitcoin or Ethereum Pairs

The first alternative WETH-DAI liquidity pool in this group. The annual APR of this investment made through the Sushi application is 2500%.

The second alternative is to invest in the USD-BTC-ETH pool through the Curve application. The annual APR of this investment is 2409%.

There are several reasons why the rates are so high. The first reason is that the return can be withdrawn after a 90-day waiting period. On the other hand, it is possible to withdraw instantly by giving up half of the return. Another reason is that the platform has been successfully designed to support the Polycub price. The price of Polycub was originally one dollar. It's over $4 right now. As a result, returns have quadrupled. The third reason is that the platform is still very new. Over time, the platform will attract more liquidity and returns will decline.

3. Bitcoin and Ethereum Kingdoms Pool

This was my favorite liquidity pool. It's nice that a pool containing the strongest coins in the crypto world, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, still has a 2000% return. I transferred my existing Bitcoins and Ethereums to Polycub yesterday. Most of my $500 return came from the return on this pool.

4. Matic and Pleo Liquidity Pool

With the introduction of the Polycub project, Leo began to be traded on the Polygon network after Hive, Ethereum, and BNB. When I saw that there was a 3185% return in the Matic-Pleo liquidity pool, I transferred the Leos I bought to power up to the Polygon network. Both Matic and Leo are coins that I trust in their potential. Therefore, I intend to continue this investment for a long time.

5. Liquidity Pools with PolyCub

Polycub is the newest among the coins I mentioned. Although it has drawn a stable image in the range of 4 to 5 dollars so far, its price can change dramatically upwards or downwards at any time. Polycub-USDC and Polycub-WETH liquidity pools still offer a 9500% return. I still use the Polycubs I earned through Kingdom pools in the Polycub-WETH pool.

6. xPolyCub

Investors who do not like to invest in coins in pairs or triples can stake PolyCubs that they have received via airdrop, purchased, or earned from pools. When Polycub is staked, it transforms into xPolyCub. We can think of xPolycub as the management token of the platform. It has a different value than PolyCub. (3.67 times more valuable at the time of writing) xPolyCub owners benefit from the early withdrawal of Locked PolyCubs as well as the pool returns. Currently, xPolycub's return is around 5000%.

Conclusion

The DEFI 2.0 platform, Polycub, successfully completed its first day and a half as expected. Moreover, there was negative pricing in the crypto market during this time. PolyCub's current performance reminds me of the early days of Pancakeswap. DEFI 2.0 mechanisms designed to support the PolyCub price seem to have kept the PolyCub price around 4 dollars.

It is of course possible that the price of Polycub will rise or fall dramatically in the coming days. In any case, PolyCub appears to offer great returns to investors. I believe that every member of the Hive community should take advantage of this opportunity due to their risk-taking appetite and budget.

I am really looking forward to see where this is going. Looks really promising so far. !1UP

Although the CertiK audit has been done, there is a small contract hacking risk.

Is that only for the stable coin pool or for all contracts on Polycub?

It is for all the contracts in the Polycub and in the DEFI space in general as well.
