Projects other than Decentraland, Axie Infinity, and Sandbox in the metaverse category are not yet widely known. NFT Worlds has become one of the projects that can be included among the "big three" with the successful NFT offering made last October.
NFT Worlds are 10,000 worlds living on the Ethereum blockchain. Different experiences can be designed by different communities in each world.
NFT Worlds' 10,000 "worlds" that can be used on the Minecraft infrastructure were sold out in a short time, the prices of world NFTs rose from 1.5 Ethereum to 20 Ethereum last month. Currently, NFT World's base price is 8.9 ETH.
The huge amount of "land" compared to other metaverses was been effective in the interest shown in NFT Worlds. It is also an advantage that there are thousands of players and designers who know Minecraft. The NFT Worlds team uses the assets of Minecraft built over many years to create an NFT-based metaverse. For example, NFT Worlds became cross-platform playable (Xbox, PS, Switch, Phones, Tablets) last month. Many worlds are still active and dozens of games are under construction in many worlds.
By the way, although the APIs of Minecraft, which belong to Microsoft, is used, an official contract has not been made yet. To date, Microsoft has not made any positive or negative comments on the subject.
NFT Worlds recently airdropped $WRLD, the platform's cryptocurrency, to NFT holders. The cryptocurrency of the project, $WRLD, is a highly inflationary coin. The ETH/WRLD liquidity pool on Uniswap still yields over 200%. NFT worlds are beyond my purchasing power with their base price of 8.9 ETH. On the other hand, I invested in the ETH/WRLD liquidity pool on a Sunday morning when gas prices were cheap. Since a close friend of mine is in the NFT Worlds community, I can receive regular information about developments.
Another financial asset belonging to the ecosystem of NFT Worlds is skuxxversepass NFTs. The floor price of these NFTs, which will provide exclusive rights in the worlds to be designed, is 0.289 ETH. Regular airdrops will be made to SkuxxVerse NFT holders.
Conclusion
There is a large community excited about the project around the NFT worlds, each with its own unique geographic and environmental characteristics. The fact that games played on various worlds earns $WRLD has also led to an intense interest in worlds that are still active. NFT communities such as Grayboys, RTKFT, Herogalaxy, and SkuxxVerse have bought many worlds and they are still working on their worlds. NFT Worlds may become one of the favorite venues for NFT enthusiasts over time.
Metaverse is one of the most controversial categories in the crypto world. While some think that it is too early, there are also those who argue that it is necessary to act early not to miss the opportunity. One of the factors that create uncertainty is the agreement to be made with Microsoft, in particular for NFT Worlds.
On the other hand, the market value of $WRLD is still quite low. If there is a strong interest in the worlds that are currently being created, we may encounter high price increases in both the relevant NFTs and the $WRLD coin. The huge potential and the uncertainty can also be seen in the $WRLD price charts. The next few months are critical for the project.

There will never be land for sale anymore. Only secondary market.
Very interesting. I will look into this further. I have always been interested in the process by which existing games could be monetized on the blockchain. So I think studying Minecraft’s foray into the Metaverse will be useful.
