RE: Are We Getting Close To Hive FOMO?

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Yes this is a big misunderstanding of what causes crypto fomo. Crypto fomo comes from high price rises. The unfortunate reality is people don't care about tech. They don't care about development. They don't care about utility. They don't care about usefulness. They don't care about what or whom crypto helps..

They don't care about anything of that. In a " cave man" way only thing they care about is price go up. Doge coin should prove that to you all. Meme coins.. ridiculous unstainable defi returns. So what really matters is can you get enough people to get behind your community.

That's the secret in crypto. Nothing else has to make sense. people are on hive for the simple reason if they can write a blog and most can't do that well. We have ai systems that write blogs indistinguishable from humans.

in fact in blind tests people chose the ai written blogs as more desirable than human written blogs. So you should look into billion dollar projects like pulse chain and hex. They simply unveil the reality of crypto. Next instead of trying to create their own vision or narrative of it. They simply tell the reality of it and then exploit it and become billion dollar projects.

That's the part i don't think hive is ever going to get. I think it's just far to idiealistic to reality. A bit overly optimistic without changing it shortcomings and addressing them. Then maybe it can get the fomo.

Fomo also comes from creation of alot of opportunity. HIve builds great things but that doesn't matter in crypto. Good projects aren't enough anymore in crypto. They stopped being years ago. That's why defi is so popular. So fomo comes from the idea of he with the most wallets wins. Without the ability to get the wallets you don't improve your market value.

To get the wallets you need to provide opportunity. I don't think your projects doing enough of that. They may be doing a degree of it. However it's not enough. it's not going to be enough to push hive into the next level like you all want. Waiting for it to happen i think is a mistake as well. I don't view this as a self correcting issue. I think you need to make it happen. Develop plans for it to happen. You all either don't grasp that, don't want to.. or don't care. Which is fine however i don't see it happening until you do.

I agree with you. The entire crypto community focuses on mooning and Lambos. We are now facing regulation and an assortment of other things from governments due to our own doing.

But that is only the first wave of users. We will find others who operate a great deal differently.
