Not arguing but holding them accountable respectfully should be. Kids nowadays are more expressive and exposed to a lot through media. Instead of arguing, we need to model respectful communication, set firm boundaries, and teach emotional regulation. They learn how to speak by watching how we speak, so the goal is to correct, not confront.
Today, parents must evolve toward a different kind of parenting. Modern times demand it. Very good advice.
