Who eats this!

Weight: 85 kg.
I’ve heard that some of these fish can weigh as much as 150–200 kg.
The name of this species is stingray, though locally it is often referred to as “Shaplapata mach” (literally meaning “water lily leaf fish”) because of its resemblance to a water lily leaf.

Today, one such fish was brought to the Cox’s Bazar fishery ghat. Although we don’t sell this fish, I couldn’t resist taking a picture when I came across it. Personally, I’ve never tasted it, and as far as I know, the locals in Cox’s Bazar usually don’t eat it either.

So, who actually eats this fish? And more importantly—what does it taste like?
