Ya el mes de julio terminó y está comenzando agosto, cuyo nombre se debe al primer emperador romano Octavio Augusto, por cierto el mismo fue quien decidió designarlo con su nombre (anteriormente el nombre de este mes en latín era sextilis, que en castellano sería como “sesiembre” (es decir el resto mes), recuerden que literalmente septiembre hace referencia al séptimo mes, en los tiempos de Roma la numeración de los meses era diferente a la que se usa actualmente. Por otro lado como mencioné aquí, el mes de julio hace referencia a Cayo Julio Cesar.
Dejando a un lado los comentarios sobre la historia, en Hive el primer día del mes se tiene como tradición realizar el Hive Power Up Day ( #HPUD). Ya llevo diecinueve meses consecutivos participando en esta actividad, como deja constancia las insignias que muestro. Más aún este mes conseguí una insignia adicional, la de Power UP Month, esta es la segunda que obtengo en esta categoría. Los resultados se pueden consultar aquí.
The month of July is already gone and August is just starting. The current month is name after the first Roman Emperador Octavius Augustus, by the way, the change of the name of the month was done by himself. Previusly this month was called in Latin sextilis (in English would be something like “Sixember”), which gives references to the sixth month of the year. Remember that “September” give reface to the seventh month of the year, in early Roman times the numeration of the month was different to the current one. As I pointed out in this post, the month of July is named in honor of Gaius Julius Caesar.
Putting aside the historic remarks about the calendar. In Hive, we celebrate the first day of each month the Hive Power Up Day ( #HPUD), which is already a tradition in this platform.

Hola Nenio, opino que Hive es una excelente inversión a la largo plazo, te felicito. A mí también me gustaría poder hacerlo,pero la verdad la economía del hogar no me lo permite.
