Hive, a factor that balances inequality between men and women in less developed countries.

In most Latin American and African countries poverty is a common factor among their respective populations, basically an effect of economic inequality, which causes the gap between the richest minority and the poorest majority to widen over time. However, within the poor majority, the most vulnerable sector in these countries is undoubtedly women, who are the most affected.

If there is something difficult in this part of the world is to get a job, not just a well paid one, but one that allows you to get a salary with which to buy food and pay for services or rent where you live, more than that is impossible. These types of jobs are scarce, and most of them are given to the male sector of the population.

On the other hand, women are relegated to secondary roles when it comes to jobs, destined to always favor child rearing over our professional lives, even to the point of fulfilling the role of father and mother alone within the family nucleus. Most of the precarious or underpaid jobs, those that only serve to earn a day's living, are held by women.

Evidently there is a wage gap between men and women considering the fact that women are usually the ones who make more effort if we add home and child care among our functions. Given this situation, women are the sector of the population that takes more risks to develop an enterprise, a situation that brings them closer to social networks in order to promote our small businesses through audiovisual images.

It is here where Hive produces a great social change in these developing countries, since it allows this sector of the population to access the world of decentralized electronic currencies through content monetization. In fact, many ladies dedicated to various ventures generate extra resources by promoting their articles, making tutorials or writing various topics related to their economic activity, which is directly reflected in their economic and social welfare.

The number of projects, activities or contents dedicated to the promotion of entrepreneurship led by women in Hive groups in Latin America and Africa is unprecedented, which certainly has an impact on the improvement of their quality of life and that of their children from an economic point of view. It is necessary to emphasize that the global situation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic makes it necessary to run businesses from the Internet, a method that, although increasingly used, is still difficult to implement given the difficulties of the most vulnerable sectors of the population to have a connection to the information superhighway.

But in these countries women are used to overcome any difficulty because we know that stopping is synonymous with losing. Hive has become a tool to narrow the social gap caused by the current world economic order. Certainly there is still a long way to go, but as long as Hive and its dApps remain decentralized and allow the free development of content, not only women but also all those who feel economically challenged will have a space where they can generate income through their own efforts.

When you see a publication of any entrepreneurship, whether women or men, please show your support to that person either by giving your comment or if you prefer with your upvote, together we make a big difference.
