Did you see how many views that PeakD post received? When on Splinterlands, you click for more info about the airdrop. Thousands visited that post. I'd say very few of them understood even the simple act of asking a question in the comments could have earned them a bit of crypto. That's a bit of a missed opportunity. You'll notice you don't see a sudden influx of low rep noob accounts engaging. Sure, Hive products can allow for their consumers to stumble into various other avenues to explore; or make those roads clear and maintain them then notice the difference almost immediately. The consumer cycle is like a whirlwind. Several open doors leading into the core spreads them all over the place.
