What are you bullish on? The technology or the currency.
I lean towards technology. This is why I am bullish on hive because it is advancing technologically. There is a lot of work put into making this blockchain run effectively and scaling as well.

Technology. Currency is subject to market action which is often completely insane. Either they undervalue or overvalue things and usually by a wide margin. Whichever way it is, it is off.
Follow the technology and the markets will eventually follow is my view on things.

does the same logic apply to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.. they seem tied in a way and I have noticed most are fixated on the currency (which explains this ridiculous tribalism that exists in the crypto space) than the technology.

I guess in a kind of way it does. I expect tons of crypto to fail before we find the good ones. I am hoping HIVE becomes one of those good ones.

Without a doubt what @jfang003 says is true. And of course it applies to blockchain and crypto.
The tribalism is on the part of people. Developers just look to churn out software and apps. They are building without much regard for where it is going really.
This is why innovation comes from all over the place. People are just pondering what they can do.

Currency can be minted from different technologies . I like Hive because of the blockchain features and not the price .
