Even for Twitter, do we ever bother about numbers vis-a-vis quality? But that's bcoz they already achieved that critical mass, and we are in the early stage to build that critical mass.
For a short video, u primarily watch it for fun or consumption of info. I have not seen any one commenting there without watching it. Bcoz there is no special incentive to become a superficial commentor.
The comment sections are the most effective on these sites and you wonder why that's not the case here. Maybe we should consider building something on-chain without tokenomics for the merits of building on a decentralized network
