Note: This is a summary of the 8th and last tabletop roleplaying session of the Red Delta Campaign. We are planning to continue with a new Campaign, focused on the Liberation of Toth.
Inside the sewers of Marbledem, after having escaped the rampaging Iromeg, Kyra and Hugo sit down to have a chat with Tarik.

Tarik explains that Kyra’s parents are still alive, but that he keeps them in an underground shelter, because they would try to ruin the Swordworks if they are allowed to speak to the Mayor. After some negotiation, the three settle on a deal: Kyra is allowed to evacuate her parents from Marbledem to Sylophore, but in return she must support Seth Galleon as candidate for Marbledem Mayor in the upcoming election. Not much later, the existing Mayor, Beator, dies allegedly from food poisoning.
During the initial conversation with Tarik, the party also discovers that Toth is likely under attack. Hugo Antillez, who has a long term aim to govern Toth, decides to raise a fighting force to liberate Toth.
Centaurus, Colonel on the Southeastern Front of the Kazamer Army
Meanwhile, Valdirim, who was captured by the Kazamer Colonel Centaurus. He claims to know nothing about the Belovian sword that he gave to Leora before her fight, and that the guards discovered later on. The guards don’t quite buy his lie, but they are willing to look the other way once Valdirim pays up a bribe of 200 crystals.
At this point, several months pass, and we fast-forwarded to the Wind Season of 51052. The merchant Adamis decides to stay in Marbledem, while Hugo Antillez convinces the arena manager Garathor to lend him 50 gladiators and monsters while the Arena is being rebuilt. In addition, he succeeds in tracking down Leora, who fled after the Arena fire. Leora, too, decides to join his cause. Hugo also meets up with Tarik to get weapons for his mission to liberate Toth. He obtains a range of Belovian weapons. Soon after, his brother and his bodyguard are joining as well.
Seth Galeon, the new Mayor of Marbledem
After the new Mayor, Seth Galeon, has been appointed with the support of Kyra, Kyra herself escorts her parents to Marbledem. In Marbledem, the health of her parents improve gradually. Not much later, the party explores a variety of options to unseat Tarik of the Ridge, and eventually decide to try and assassinate him. This does not go entirely according to plan, as Tarik notices their approach, and is accompanied by one of his guards. As a result, the two factions fight inside a small room in the front of the Marbledem Swordworks. Kyra blasts a fireball at the guard, but Tarik manages to knock out Kyra with a single blow from his rapier. Later, Valdirim and Hugo trade decisive blows, and Hugo then manages to parlay the injured guard into switching sides. As a last ditch effort, Tarik manages to shatter Valdirims leg in retaliation, but seconds later ends up beheaded by Hugo Antillez and a Belovian Sword. As a purple haze envelops Tarik, demonic screeches come out of Hugo’s Belovian Sword and Tarik’s corpse explodes, causing the room to collapse. The party jumps out of the ground floor window to bring themselves to safety.
And with this, the party decides that their adventures together are over for now. Hugo chooses to prepare his army for a conquest to liberate Toth. Kyra decides to take over the Marbledem Swordworks, and to run it together with her parents, assisted by May the Frost Channeler. And Valdirim? He decides to head back to Red Delta, to explore his next life phase of gambling, adventure and intrigue!
