Leo Ad Revenue Program - GameChanger?

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Finally!

I always wondered how come no one utilized the ad system revenue program as leverage to increase the overall userbase, while further incentivizing stakeholders to contribute to the success of the platform. This is not the ideal system, but it's definitely better than what we've seen so far.

I've been preaching that ever since I understood the economic principles of supply/demand ratios - at the end of the day, why would anyone buy your token if there's no real use case that'll provide an edge over others?

Or who or what can guarantee that demand will outpace the supply?

Allowing companies and businesses to target specific audiences while sharing profits is the new WEB 3.0 narrative.

Sure, ad blocks are a common problem, but we can easily wrap it up into something more fun. For instance, imagine having a box on the top right corner and every time you open it, you have a chance to win a % of a daily/weekly ad reward.

Or even better, if you're annoyed by the ads, pay Leo and you won't see any.

This is especially important when it comes to decentralized social media or GameFi. WEB 3.0 shouldn't be ad-less, it should direct profits to the stakeholders and that's the fundamental difference between centralized operations and decentralized protocols. No one has the right to exclude you from farming yields, regardless of how big/small u are.

WEB 2.0 fundamental economies are built on top of advertisement money, so I do not know why WEB 3.0 projects are constantly disregarding that as one of the most tangible ways of bringing sustainability?

Geez, sometimes I'm surprised how so brilliant people can't see through the most simple stuff. Not everything has to be complex in order to make people hyped.

More complexity often brings more attack vectors and decreases a chance for a random person to participate.

If it wasn't obivous so far, crypto is quite a complex ecosystem and so far little to nothi+

This is what i have been saying for years.
So much wasted potential by not using ad revenue to drive growth of the platform. Content is our most valuable asset on social media so we should be using it to earn more profits for the community.

It will destroy UX.

Like no bro, price decline will destroy it, ads when incorporated properly can only boost the engagement. It may sound counterintuitive, but when there's a chance to make a profit on top of something as benign as advertisements, better go for it

And leofinance is ranked way further back than peakd.com.

They had spoke about something like this a year ago but i haven't heard anything about it since.

hive.blog is pure shit anyway so the options are limited but i would be in favor of placing ads on the sites for a hive buyback.

It's interesting to see how this effects the leo revenue going forward.

The use cases for LEO are only growing. Staking as Leo Power is only one solution. There are now 2 (3 but wLEO is not used much) LPs that people can get in. It helps to generate returns for people.
