The crypto exchange Liquid got HACKED! $74M funds stolen

Another sad hack in crypto today. This time a cybercriminal has stolen the funds and right now is attempting to launder them and get away with the money.
Yesterday, the Japanese centralized exchange Liquid announced on Twitter their hot wallets were compromised. As a countermeasure Liquid has suspended all deposits and withdrawals while they investigate and move all funds to their cold wallets.

Do you want to investigate what's going on yourself? Liquid has shared the following wallet addresses involved in the hack. These are wallets the cracker sent the money to.
BTC: 1Fx1bhbCwp5LU2gHxfRNiSHi1QSHwZLf7q
ETH/EWT: 0x5578840aae68682a9779623fa9e8714802b59946
TRX: TSpcue3bDfZNTP1CutrRrDxRPeEvWhuXbp
XRP: rfapBqj7rUkGju7oHTwBwhEyXgwkEM4yby

Furthermore, the attacker deposited XRP from another exchange and withdrew BTC to the addresses below:
12PKkwoFkXp6JtN7roWRA2gSitE6nVDds4

Liquid is reaching out to other centralized exchanges. If other exchanges blacklist the wallet addresses and freeze the funds, the funds could be recovered. I will be updating this article with the latest updates posted on Liquid's Twitter.
