Is Germany so high because of "no speed limits" ?

Sort:

Looks low to me! Relatively.

Safety counts. The safer the wiser.

Slow speed is good.

Countries with highways are safer than the others. I speak from experience as my country is last in the top. :(

so speed limit is correlated.......

So while the "no speed limits" part sounds wild, it’s not the whole story. It’s more like: fast lanes, but with disciplined drivers and serious engineering. Still... 34 deaths per million isn't exactly "top of the class" either. There's room to brake — I mean, improve!

No speed limits is on limited parts of highways now. I get speeding fine... :-(

It appears that way

Overspeeding has taken many lives.

Safety comes first so speed limits are recommended.

Speed is no good. Previous lives.

Inappropriate speed is a significant factor in fatal crashes, particularly on Autobahn sections without speed limits, where high speeds can lead to severe consequences in accidents.
Other Factors are alcohol consumption, careless driving.

Lack of speed limits would cause more accidents , so I agree

More like it

I think that is the reason

Safety is most important on roads.

i think so concerning your question.

Obviously

overspending causes so much death so no speed limits would cause alot of chaos

You have raised a valid question

Overspeeding can be lethal. So no to that.

Roads are dangerous with overspeeding.
