Yes, very much so in the summer time. Now it's winter, all IS covered with snow. Very few birds around, and all are mostly quite, silent.
Ah, that makes sense. It's cold and they might be keeping themselves warm.

Love the view! Haven't been deep in the woods in a while. Reminds me when I was staying on a farm and woke up surrounded by cows. lol
