I think a major part of Tubi's rise in popularity is it being free. I have seen and heard a lot of people complain about the different streaming channels and the rising costs of subscribing to them. Services like Hulu have ads, so watching on something that's free even though it has ads makes them feel better. Some are just subscribing to the paid services when they have a show that they follow coming back.

Without a doubt.
People are now paying as much as they did for cable for just the streaming services. And now they are getting ads back.
The industry screwed itself on that one.
We now have to look at Web 3.0 in a new light. My next article will cover that.
