Is the Tiktok Algorithm More Addictive Than Cocaine? My Take on TikTok vs Web3

The algorithm is just built different than I thought at first. Social media platform built on internet is entirely different thing than what we have on here. Is it the UI? Payouts difference?

We lack audience and trends on this platform. Years of shit posting on X and other places have brought me followers and clicks

People care more about clicks and impressions on their tweets, post than getting paid for posting and there's a lot going behind those algorithms that cost billions just to train.

The Algorithm is more addictive than cocaine

It scares people when they talk about buying a car and next thing they'll see while scrolling on phone will be that car ad

Raises the concerns that they're listening to our conversation most of the time. Mark Zuckerberg is known for doing stuff like that.

Twisting users data and using it for his own benefits. It's what every company do and it happens with our consent when we agree with their terms and conditions without reading it.

Tiktok and Instagram algorithm needs to be studied more because they've took YouTube out of the picture

Entirely replaced with the short videos that's only a minute long. Mostly the humour brings millions of impressions and clicks

Plenty of new trends

One trend is being replaced with the other trend on tiktok every 24 hours, a week and 365 days. Majority of people are consumer, less content creators still millions of impressions

And no one is bored of using those apps tells us how addictive that algorithm is and if we had half of that algorithm here we could change everything.

In last few days I've noticed there's nothing like trends, hashtags discussing anything.

It's mostly people sharing post about hive, Leo and other tokens. I've never seen mark Zuckerberg or tiktok owner talk about their platform.

I can't compare billions of dollar giants with platform like inLeo but end goal should be that.

How long we can sustain the growth when there's less content, less humour, entertainment.

Threadcast is a brilliant idea

I've seen few of Threadcast that goes on every day. It is no different than watching those podcast and listening to Joe Rogan

And I found it very interesting, thinking to start my own when I build my audience.

What I want to do is bring the changes I want to see it on this platform. Contribution adds up and makes it more fun.

I've lost the touch from reality because of web 2.0 feeding your mind with that short content

But people are getting paid heavily on X and that encourages people to bring news, interesting engagement worthy post that fetch millions of impressions in couple of hours.

When people here will be getting paid any close to X. I suppose there will be a flood of people rushing in to make engagement worthy posts.

The more I spend time I learn new things, need to observe more and share idea like an outsider see's the world first time. I'll continue to share more observations and ideas in my next post.
