It's been established that the rate of poverty keeps growing on a yearly basis, especially with some African countries topping the chart as the countries with the highest number of individuals subjected to poverty to the core.

In Africa today, Nigeria has been considered the country with the highest population of people living impoverished. It has been proposed that the rate of poverty is expected to hit 37% of its citizens, with 84 million Nigerians living below the poverty line already. This is the second-largest poverty population in the world after India.
Plenty of things have been attributed to its cause, especially in countries facing economic crises and having little infrastructure to save their citizens. There have been calls that lack of jobsand other means of getting livelihood has indeed contributed to the increase impoverished in our world today.
Even at that, the cost of living keeps growing higher daily, and the rate of inflation In our market today, keeps adding to the reasons people keep finding it challenging to get along in our society today. With the little some can get, lack of help from the government or community leaders keeps reducing people to more poverty.
Insecurity too is another factor that has indeed increased the rate of poverty in our society today. The rate of insecurity in some countries has indeed contributed to the level of poverty facing their citizens.
Nigeria, as an example, once encountered a high level of insecurity from the popular herdsman gang, which stopped plenty of farmers from farming. Aside from that, it indeed affected farm products, as cows were being used to destroy farm products, and even some farmers were killed in the process. This, on the other hand, contributed to an decrease in farm products gotten as little do end up getting to the citizens due to damage caused to farm products.

The government, on the other hand, keeps failing, especially with the lack of job opportunities in society. Empowerment has been considered the best means of putting an end to poverty in our society. Its importance is high because it comes with a lot of ability to bring out a lot of potential in people. Aside from helping individuals with capital to fund their business mindset, acquiring skills is another attribute that comes with empowerment. This is more vital, as it will also help individuals get things done for themselves.
It will be of more importance when every individual in our society has something to do, especially when it comes to meeting the daily cost of living demands.

Empowering people will absolutely go a long way in today's world, especially when it comes to reducing the rate of unemployment and giving individuals the ability to utilize various skills learned and make the most of various establishments gotten as a result of capital gotten from the government or community leaders.
Empowerment needs to be taken with more seriousness, especially in today's society, where getting a government job is rare. For me, I sincerely hope there should be an education formula that includes students learning skills as part of their subjects in school.
To streamline the high rate of poverty in most African countries today, empowering people will absolutely go along, and that will definitely help put plenty of individuals on their toes, especially when it comes to being able to make ends meet daily.
