Silver coin Hercules weighing 1 oz.
Collector coin, bullion coin, this is the first coin of the new series "Heroes of Greek Mythology". It depicts Hercules slaughtering the Hydra, it was one of his works. The work was imposed on him as a punishment, for committing murder against his family. Hercules killed his wife and children under the influence of a curse placed on him by Hera out of hatred for the fact that Zeus had betrayed her with Alchemena, the fruit of which was Hercules. These were to be unworkable works, surpassing Hercules' strength. He was supposed to complete ten of them, but two were not passed, so the total was twelve. This is how the works assigned to Hercules were presented in sequence:
- Killing the Nemean lion
- Killing the Lerneian hydra
- Capture of the Kernaean doe
- Capture of the boar of Eremantia
- Cleaning out the stable of Augias
- Driving away the Stymphalian birds
- Capture of the Cretan bull
- Capture of the mare Diomedes
- Capturing the belt of Hippolyta
- Abducting Gerion's flock
- Bringing apples from the garden of Hesperides
- Bringing Cerberus back from Hades
Srebrna moneta Herkules o wadze 1 uncji.
Moneta kolekcjonerska, bulionowa, jest to pierwsza moneta z nowej serii "Bohaterowie mitologii greckiej". Przedstawiona jest na niej postać Herkulesa, który ubija Hydrę, była to jedna z jego prac. Pracę zostały na niego nałożone jako kara, za dopuszczenie się mordu na swojej rodzinie. Herkules zabił swoją żonę i dzieci pod wpływem klątwy, którą rzuciła na niego Hera z nienawiści za to, że Zeus zdradził ją z Alkmeną, czego owocem był właśnie Herkules. Miały to być prace niewykonalne, przewyższające siły Herkulesa. Miał ich wykonać dziesięć, ale dwie nie zostały zaliczone, więc łącznie było ich dwanaście. Tak kolejno przedstawiały się prace zadane Herkulesowi:
- Zabicie lwa nemejskiego
- Zabicie hydry lernejskiej
- Schwytanie łani kerynejskiej
- Schwytanie dzika erymantejskiego

Reverse
On the reverse is depicted one of the strongest Heros Hercules while performing his second task, that of killing the Lerne hydra. It was a monster similar in appearance to a snake with a large number of heads. The creature was difficult to defeat, because in place of the severed head, two new ones grew. However, Hercules was able to cope with this opponent as well. He burned the severed places, so that new heads could not grow back. Above Hercules' head is his name. On the right side are placed digits, which weight and bullion sample.
Rewers
Na rewersie przedstawiony jest jeden z najsilniejszych Herosów Herkules podczas wykonywania swojego drugiego zadania, czyli zabicia hydry lernejskiej. Był to potwór zbliżony wyglądem do węża o dużej liczbie głów. Stworzenie to było trudne do pokonania, ponieważ w miejscu uciętej głowy, wyrastały dwie nowe. Herkules poradził sobie jednak i z tym przeciwnikiem. Ucięte miejsca przypalał, przez co nie mogły odrastać nowe głowy. Nad głową Herkulesa widnieje jego imię. Po prawej stornie umieszone są cyfry, które wagę oraz próbę kruszcu.
