Jedną z moich ulubionych monet, jakie posiadam, jest poniższa moneta. Jest to srebrna kolekcjonerska moneta "Kajko i Kokosz". Moneta z serii znanego komiksu z lat 1972-1992 stworzonego przez polskiego rysownika i scenarzystę, Janusza Christę. Jego komiksy ukazują przygody dwóch słowiańskich wojowników. Autor wprowadził do swoich prac połączenie akcji, humoru oraz elementów słowiańskiej mitologii. Komiksy cieszyły się zarówno dawniej, jak i obecnie dużą popularnością u młodszych i starszych czytelników. Prócz akcji, w komiksach była również ukazana przyjaźń dwóch głównych bohaterów. Seria zdobyła różne nagrody i wyróżnienia za całokształt, rysunek oraz fabułę. W 2021 roku na platformie NETFLIX zadebiutował serial animowany składający się z 26 odcinków. Twórczość Janusza Christy doczekała się również gier komputerowych, pierwsza została wydana w 1994 roku. Powstały również spektakle teatralne przedstawiające losy bohaterów, opisane wcześniej w komiksach. Ponad dziesięć lat temu polska firma wydała pierwsze zabawki przedstawiające wizerunki głównych postaci komiksu.
Osobiście nie jestem wielkim fanem komiksu, natomiast moneta, kiedy pierwszy raz się o niej dowiedziałem i ją zobaczyłem, bardzo mi się spodobała. Została wydana na rocznice 50-lecia ukazania pierwszego komiksu. Postanowiłem ją dokupić do swojej kolekcji, patrząc na historię powieści, myślę, że jest to ciekawy artefakt kolekcjonerski.
Moneta jest zapakowana w drewniane pudełko, w którym prócz samej monety znajduje się również certyfikat oryginalności. Moneta jest wykonana w kolorze i posiada ultra wysoki relief o grubości 3mm oraz ma trójwymiarowy wygląd.
One of my favorite coins I have is the coin below. This is a silver collector's coin "Kajko and Kokosz". This is a coin from a series of the famous comic book from 1972-1992 created by the Polish illustrator and screenwriter, Janusz Christa. His comics show the adventures of two Slavic warriors. The author introduced a combination of action, humor and elements of Slavic mythology into his works. Comics have been very popular both in the past and now among younger and older readers. In addition to the action, the comics also showed the friendship of the two main characters. The series won various awards and distinctions for overall achievement, drawing and plot. In 2021, an animated series consisting of 26 episodes debuted on the NETFLIX platform. Janusz Christa's work has also been adapted into computer games, the first one was released in 1994. There were also theater performances depicting the fate of the heroes previously described in comics. More than ten years ago, the Polish company released the first toys depicting the main characters of the comic book.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the comic book, but I really liked the coin when I first learned about it and saw it. It was published on the 50th anniversary of the first comic book. I decided to add it to my collection, looking at the history of the novel, I think it is an interesting collector's artifact.The coin is packed in a wooden box, which, apart from the coin itself, also contains a certificate of originality. The coin is colored and has an ultra-high relief of 3mm thickness and has a three-dimensional appearance.

Na rewersie ukazane są główne postacie całej serii. Na środku przedstawione są postacie pierwszoplanowe, czyli po lewej Kajko po prawej Kokosz. Na dole umieszczone jest logo i nazwa serii oraz podpis autora pierwszych komiksów. Wokoło postaci pierwszoplanowych przedstawione są postacie drugoplanowe. Smok Miluś, znaleziony w lesie jako jajko przez Kajko i Kokosza. Obok niego jest Kapral i Hegemon. Kolejno idąc od prawej strony: Łamignat, kasztelan Mirmił, kruk Gdaś - gadający ptak, Jaga - czarownica i ciotka Kokosza, Lubawa - żona kasztelana Mirmiła. W górnej części jest napis mówiący o 50-leciu komiksu oraz zakres dat.
Reverse:
The reverse shows the main characters of the entire series. In the middle, the main characters are presented, i.e. Kajko on the left and Kokosz on the right. At the bottom there is the logo and name of the series as well as the signature of the author of the first comics. Secondary characters are presented around the main characters. Miluś the dragon, found in the forest as an egg by Kajko and Kokosz. Next to him is the Corporal and the Hegemon. Going from the right side: Łamignat, castellan Mirmił, raven Gdaś - a talking bird, Jaga - a witch and Kokosz's aunt, Lubawa - wife of the castellan Mirmiła. At the top there is an inscription about the 50th anniversary of the comic book and the date range.

W górnej części ukazany jest wizerunek grodu, kasztelana Mirmiła, w którym mieszkali Kajko i Kokosz. Pod wizerunkiem umieszczony jest herb emitenta, dookoła umieszczone są informacje dotyczące parametrów monety, takie jak stop, z którego została wykonana oraz waga. Nad herbem jest kraj emitenta i data wydania. Na dole jest umieszczony nominał, który wskazuje, że moneta jest oficjalnym środkiem płatniczym.
Obverse:
In the upper part there is an image of the castle, castellan Mirmiła, where Kajko and Kokosz lived. The issuer's coat of arms is placed under the image, and around it there is information about the coin's parameters, such as the alloy from which it was made and its weight. Above the coat of arms is the issuing country and the date of issue. There is a denomination at the bottom, which indicates that the coin is official tender.
