Introduction on the issue of unemployment.
Unemployment has been one of the major issues aside the issues of corruption, insecurity, banditry, nepotism, favoritism that had been drawing Nigeria backward from being tagged a developed country. Of course we are still underdeveloped.
According to statista,it calculated that, the issue of unemployment might reach 33% before the end of the 2022. They also stated that, unemployment has risen very in the past few years.
As the population of Nigeria is increasing,the more you will found a lot of people seeking for job opportunities. Let's say people from the age of 16 and upwards. The worst of all,as Nigerian Universities are producing more graduates,the more number graduates seeking for job increases every year.
History of POS in Nigeria.
The historical antecedent of POS known to be point of sales can be traced to 2013 when the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) approved that the point of sales standing as bank agents so as to reach areas that bank system couldn't reach. Since then,point of sales standing began to spread across the country.
Impact POS has on Nigeria unemployment issue.
Initially, one of the major reasons for the establishment of POS to reach people in the remote areas. Areas far from the cities where banking system are usually located. It's not that you can't find banking system in remote areas but you can only find few.
As time passes by,the reason for establishment began to digress such that POS business now started spreading also in the city. Presently,in my city which is Ilorin that I base there's no junction you get to that you won't find one POS stands. So this has helped to reduced unemployment to a certain level. POS business has now become a hot case business that most people are doing, including the graduates. It's just like they are bringing banking services to your doorstep and you only pay for conveniency fee. All what you need is get a POS machine from any bank that's issuing the machine,link it with an account number, make sure you have some cash at hand, some in your account and then get started. The business geiwd fast where you have many people living or are passing through.
Aside that,you can also find the POS machine with some business owners where you can pay for the goods you bought with your ATM card if you are not with cash. In fact,aside that it helps to reduces unemployment in Nigeria,it has also helps to sort and ease payment of goods and services.

hmmm for really POS has been so helpful to so many Nigerians including me and both graduate and undergraduate because here in Nigeria if you don't have connections or money to bribe and seek for job processing you can't be employ never or as a lady if you can't let those that are heading the company, factory etc have your back on bed
