As @dalz said, Bittrex has been going down for the last couple of years... I know that I stopped using it when I noticed their FEEs were almost 10 times higher than the competition... I do understand that you may have a higher level of service, but that was a bit too much for me to grasp...
I think that it was one of the first exchanges that I used, after Bitstamp, and MtGox, but if you don't adapt, you die...
So no great loss then! I didn't know that about fees!
