Ah! This is a good catch! I remember hunting for Bush meat during my boarding school days.
I went with a friend to hunt this in a forest in 2017,it was my first experience.He dug and dug, handed me a machete and asked me to be alert to any movement out of the holes,We caught 6 that day.

Have you tasted it before, I have tried cooking stew and different soups with it but I love it when it is spiced with pepper and roasted.Hmmmmm,it very delicious.

It is not the regular house rat,It is also called bush rat here.To get it you will have to hunt for it in a bush or forest.But sometimes they are attracted to gardens or farms if what they eat can be found there
i know, but it still doesn't change the fact that they are rats (to me). Anyways, to each his own.
