Firstly, for those who don't know about Pi Network let's do a recap:
Pi’s economic model design requirements:
Simple: Build an intuitive and transparent model
Fair distribution: Give a critical mass of the world’s population access to Pi
Scarcity: Create a sense of scarcity to sustain Pi’s price over time
Meritocratic earning: Reward contributions to build and sustain the network
The Pi network hasn’t yet reached Mainnet so some of the features might change when that happens. Right now the second phase has been deployed and it’s open opportunities for developers to add Pi to their programs. 4 roles such as :
Pioneer. A user of the Pi mobile app who is simply confirming that they are not a “robot” on a daily basis. This user validates their presence every time they sign in to the app. They can also open the app to request transactions (e.g. make payment in Pi to another Pioneer which is added in the second phase of)
Contributor. A user of the Pi mobile app who is contributing by providing a list of pioneers he or she knows and trusts. In aggregate, Pi contributors will build a global trust graph.
Ambassador. A user of the Pi mobile app who is introducing other users into the Pi network.
Node. A user who is a pioneer, a contributor using the Pi mobile app, and is also running the Pi node software on their desktop or laptop computer. The Pi node software is the software that runs the core SCP algorithm, taking into account the trust graph information provided by the Contributors. No OPEN yet.

Moving to 2021, Pi Network is going to leave behind Testnet and move forward to Phase 3: Blockchain Action Plan.
1st important update: Pi Wallet inside Pi app is coming in Q1 of 2021. (Strong positive)
2st update: Nodes are going to take action in 2021. (Neutral because there is no any specific definition until now).
Highlight no.1: No codes on Github, no many dapps inside Pi App and mainly focus on big userbase (over 10 million now): Pi core team has to clarify and justify all the essential steps until the end of 2021.
Why the end of 2021?
Because, as already announced, in Q4 of 2021 it's going to be the PHASE 3, the listing on exchanges and the MAINNET of Pi Network.
Pi transactions are already executed around the world with the price range from 5-100$.
Introducing more dapps, building massive marketplaces running on Pi and with a clear and robust plan ahead, Pi network is gonna be TOP 10 for sure.
But now, the truth is that is under a progress for long.
Pi 1st CoiNvention
Absolutely succesful launch on the 1st global meeting of Pi pioneers held in November 2020.
Core team videos along with many suggestions from simple daily users of Pi were done so as to have a democratical public and open conversation about the future implementation plan of the project.

CONCLUSION
I am Pioneer in Pi Network from October 2019 when the active users where close to 750K.
At first, i thought that it was something for fun and play and i did not understand what this means INVESTMENT & PATIENCE.
Now after 1 year of using the app and hitting the MINING once every day, i think that Pi has massive potentials to be a UNIQUE coin in the Crypto industry.
However i am not 100% sure for achieving the BEST.
I am waiting MANY UPDATES, MANY NEW INTEGRATIONS, MANY DAPPS so as to BUILD A STABLE AND INNOVATIVE NEW DIGITAL CURRENCY.
I HOPE BUT AT THE SAME TIME I see the disadvantages of this project.
My personal prediction is that in 2021 Pi will have a price below 10$ but if the project runs and flows appropriately then before 2025 this crypto could reach 50$ and more. (imo)
